I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this quick story about Raine and Jackson. They were friends and even dated, but she was always his second choice, after baseball. Now she's home healing from political and relationship scandal. When she runs into Jackson again. The spark is still there but past hurts may derail their future. Great HEA after the truth is revealed.

I loved Power of Love, book 3 in the Soulmates for the Sinclairs by Piper Cook. After a devastating betrayal, Raine lost her job, and her reputation so she has come home to regroup and start over. Reuniting with her past love, Jackson was not part of her plans. Jackson and Raine dated during college but he constantly left her baseball and other girls. Now that Raine is home he is hoping she will give them another chance.

Great book

Raine left DC after a snake stole her speech and claimed it as his own. She comes back to her hometown and she bumps into her old crush Jackson. She's worried that he will be the same guy he was in the past. I loved how he proved himself to her.
