I really enjoyed reading this book. My cruise is stopping in Oslo, but this book made me want to spend several weeks there. The book is well organized, and very easy to read. The author really puts you in Oslo. I really like all the suggestions of places to go That are not necessarily the tourist areas. I highly recommend this book. My favorite parts. Are the quotes about traveling.

Simple descriptions of various things to do/see

A bit of flavor of the city, but not sufficient to us as only resource. Best suited for those with long visits in mind or those who make a habit of NOT doing tourist sites. Although several locations mentioned are also key in traditional travel guides.
