The things I like about the author 's writing style in the absence of foul language and at least the mention of church and praying. Even those in the story that are of questionable character, have a conscience and ultimately wind up on the side for good instead of evil. This is the fifth book I've read by Terrell Bowers, and they've all been good. I plan to read more of his books. Robert Gee
Luke has quite the personality. A lot of repartee in this book between Luke and Timony which’s is so often missing between the two romantic characters. Luke, an orphan, is trying to become an agent with the Wells Fargo Agency and his beginning job is a freighter. Delivering barb wire to farmers is against the local ranchers wishes and the fight or “war” begins. (Luke needs to learn to draw faster in this series—honestly!)
I live these little Westerns. The good guy always wins and gets the girl. You get a glimpse of real like problems in each book he writes. Enjoyable read.
