Splendid and interactive story that, with the example, helps children to be aware and overcome the anxiety and insecurity they may feel.

Fun and engaging

What a cute character Hungry Henry is! I enjoyed this interactive story and the parts asking the reading to help Hungry Henry. It is a great and engaging way to help kids understand anxiety and incorporates the different strategies to help us deal with anxiety. Reading about it and applying it are two different things. This book helps kids to put it into practice directly and immediately by helping Hungry Henry. Highly recommend this book for young kids and teachers and parents will be able to use this book to help their kids.

I can say that I really loved this story! Is the story of a dragon than is anxious because he struggles with breathing fire. Through this beautifully illustrated story the children can learn a simple technique that they can follow when they are anxious and also learn how their thoughts and emotions cause their actions.

I especially loved the fact that the book is interactive. I.e. it tells the reader in a number of cases to help Henry (the dragon) with something, and my kids loved that as well!

I received a free copy of this book but that did not affect my review in any way.

This was my 1st time reading about Hungry Henry. My youngest is 5 and he enjoyed learning about Hungry Henry and how he can manage some of his feelings. This was a great way to address coping mechanisms with your child so that they can learn to manage their own scary feelings.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
