One thing you are always guaranteed with a one wild weekend is a wild, exciting and thrillingly wild weekend.
Scarlett is a successful physio therapist but unlucky in love as she discover six months ago when the man she pictured marrying cheated on her. Her confidence is at an all time low especially as her younger sister is about to get married after a whirlwind affair. She wasn’t expecting her to try and set her up and when she meets who with she can’t help but admit how handsome he is. When the groom goes missing Dexter agrees to help her find him and the search and rescue that they embark on has far reaching consequences. She can’t help but fall in love with the man she swore to herself she’d avoid but with danger around them at every turn will she survive enough to be able to tell him how she feels?
This was meant to be an easy job, some bigwig getting married and needed a pilot to transport the guests, trying to gain some browny points with his Flight Commander after being put on a review he’s been grounded and can’t wait to be flying again plus the money doesn’t hurt. But things get complicated when he meets the brides sister and even with the trouble that will follow can’t help but want her. Things go from bad to worse when he finds the easy job he anticipated is a lot more dangerous than he could imagine and the woman he is coming to care for is going to suffer. Can he save Scarlett and keep his career or will he lose both through no fault of his own?
Great read and Lexi Hart always has me on the edge of my seat. Not a totally safe read but well worth a look and I’m looking forward to the next book in this series. I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced copy of this book and it’s a 5🌟 story.

The author has given us characters that we can understand. Dexter, a pilot, meets Scarlet, sister of the bride, while preparing for a wedding. They have an instant attraction, although each tries to fight it, they end up together when the groom goes missing. This story has lust/love, action, suspense and danger.

Excellent romance and excellent intrigue
I liked this new opus in this series as well for these characters as for its story which adds a little mystery, twists and turns and which is completely unpredictable on the plot.
Scarlett must go to her sister's wedding who is superficial, even if Scarlett does not understand why this marriage with a rich family takes place in the middle of nowhere, without luxury, but with a service where they need to take the plane . The pilot is Dexter, who has his pilot's license but has just been suspended from the Air Force academy for a somewhat futile pretext. Knowing the commander who is an acquaintance of the groom's family, he hopes to return to his good graces. The only point for him is that he has no adventure with a guest. However, as soon as he meets Scarlett who hates flying, he is attracted to her, not to mention that they share a bathroom. They manage to avoid each other until the groom disappears a few hours before the wedding and everyone goes looking for him.
The sequel is both a mixture of very hot romance and suspense as for everyone's life, full of surprises about the other secondary characters.

Lexi Hart has written a 5-star book that will grab you from the first page to the last page. It is full of twists and turns to keep your interest until the end. Scarlett is a physical therapist and she is taking some time off to go to her sisters' wedding. As soon as she gets to the hotel, the first person she sees is her sister Chelsea, she hears of the plans that Chelsea has made for her. Scarlett tells her sister that all she wants is some rest for now. Scarlett grabs her bags and goes up to her room, gets a shower and when she gets out there is a man standing there in the connecting doorway. She learns that his name is Dexter. Dexter is on suspension pending a review from the Air Force. His friend Jack has a job that he offers to Dexter. It is a job flying some people around for a wedding. Things for this wedding are not all on the up and up. Scarlett and Dexter get mixed up in things and they don't go will for Dexter. Michael is the one who is one who is getting Dexter in trouble. Things happen and Scarlett gets hurt and Dexter is the one who gets her the help that she needs.
Can Scarlett and Dexter get back together after everything is over with?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Wow! Okay, prepare yourself to be fully engaged in this book. Well, I would advise not reading parts of it. You need to read the book in its entirety so you can keep track of what's going on. Dexter, the pilot, is hired after being recommended by his "friend" Jack. He will be responsible for shuffling wedding guests, bride and groom, and others to wherever they need to be that wedding weekend. Scarlett is the older sister of the bride, Chelsea.
The story has intrigue and a mystery. I wouldn't say there's a lot of romance, but what there is can definitely be described as "steamy" for readers. Michael, the groom, and Chelsea, Scarlett's sister, aren't all that they seem. Things begin unraveling and you get to go along for the ride. And what a ride it happens to be!

Scarlett is a nice, quiet, somewhat introverted physical therapist who hates to fly. When she meets Dexter, the pilot for her sister's wedding weekend, she soars. This book is unique. The story is intriguing. There is action and suspense and hot sweaty sex. You can not turn the pages fast enough. There are criminals and police offices and air force officers and cadets. Dex is sweet and loving and kind. He is protective and has so much to overcome and continue to overcome. Scarlett is an independent woman who is letting life pass her by until she does not let it any more. This story is so worth the read and the five stars!.

Pilot Dexter is being hired to fly guests to a wedding destination. Scarlett is the sister of the (spoiled brat) bride and meets Dexter at the villa her parents hired for this wedding weekend. Their attraction is undeniable right from the start.
Then the groom goes missing and Scarlett and Dexter are on a search together, ending in a hotel room on the wedding location. What follows next is a mix of steamy scenes and suspense and kept me glued to the pages until the end.

This was a great read! The characters all had a little crazy in them which made for an enjoyable, entertaining read. Dexter was hired as a pilot to ferry guests back and forth from a weekend wedding in a ghost town. Scarlett is the brides sister and she is feisty, independent, curvy physical therapist. Dexter is required to stay in the villa with the family. Dexter accidentally enters the bathroom and sees Scarlett naked. There is a lot happening in this book which makes it a great read. It is funny, crazy, steamy, sexy, dangerous, intriguing, suspenseful - all the things that make it a fantastic read! Well done.

This was great. Lots of action and intrigue. A hot buff pilot and a curvy chick with lots of sexual tension. A few weird and wonderful characters as well as not so wonderful, this was well written and hard to put down, luckily it was a novella. A quick read with all the right stuff, pardon the pun, NASA. Read the book and you will get it. Really good!

This was the first book I read from this author. Scarlett swore off dating, after her boyfriend cheated on her six months ago. Her sister is about to have a wedding, which means, no date for Scarlett. Both Dexter and Scarlett were great, driven characters. I will definitely read more from this author in the future. I have read a couple of these books from this series and I would definitely recommend them. This was another super addition to the series the plot was really well done with enough going on to suck me in and keep me hooked until the end. Dexter and Scarlett are hot together this is an action-packed steamy little read

This is the 1st book I've read written by Lexi Hart; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

A wedding gone wrong, criminals you don't see coming and a smouldering ending.
Dexter and Scarlett burn up the sheets and set the room on fire. Once you start you just have to finish. Another book in the series to rave about.

I was fascinated with this entire story. It held my attention from beginning to end. The chemistry between Dexter and Scarlett was undeniable. Although they tried to avoid it, the outcome was inevitable. This story will have you feeling many different emotions ranging from happiness and delight with the building of a steamy romance and also a feeling of nervousness when there is a risk of danger. This was a quick read and very entertaining.

I loved Scarlett and Dexter together. The book was so much more then i expected. It keep me intrigued to the very end.
Scarlett's sister was getting married and Dexter was the private pilot for the event. Without knowing it they both end up in the middle of some heavy stuff. Add in romance and a life and death situation and it was engaging.

Scarlett hates that she has to fly to get to some small town for her sisters wedding it;s really fast an for her sister not to have her dream wedding is surprising.her sister wants anything expensive .When she gets there she has a killer headache an already her sister is trying to play match maker.Telling that the pilot is gorgeous.When Scarlett finds herself in a towel an a drop dead gorgeous man is standing there shes embarrassed.He does things to her by looking at her like she;s the most desirable woman in the world.Dexter thinks she gorgeous but knows he has to stay away.This story has suspense,danger,hot sex scenes an so much more.There are so many twists and turns to this story will keep you riveted until the very last page and leave you begging for more.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes and makes you feel their emotions and their pain.I can hardly wait to see whats next by this multi talented author.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Dexter and Scarlett. Scarlett is heading to the middle of nowhere for her sister's wedding. It's so remote they have to have a pilot to fly them. Dexter is asked by his buddy at the Air Force Academy to fly for a friend of a friend. Scarlett's sister Chelsea keeps trying to set her up with Dexter. When the groom goes missing Dexter and Scarlett go looking for him. But something is off. Great HEA in the end after several life threatening events

This book written by Lexi Hart is definitely a five star read and is the ninth book in her One Wild Weekend Series. The book features the story of Scarlett, a physical therapist and sister of the bride who is to be married in a western ghost town, and Dexter, a pilot temporarily suspended from the Air Force Academy pending a hearing who is contracted to fly the wedding guests on scenic flights. I highly recommend this great read with its well developed characters and a plot with mystery, suspense, humor, and steamy attraction.

The story was a little far fetched with a dash of TSTL females. Okay read. Scarlett and Dexter were a cute couple in the end. I was completely bored in the beginning. The saving grace was definitely the twist to the story, although unrealistic. Does need editing, but doesn’t distract too much from the story. Definitely wild.

Always a pleasure to read one of Lexi Harts books! She’s takes us into another great read with Scarlett getting a way for her sister wedding. Dexter being the pilot who’s will fly the wedding party. There’s some great banter and wonderful tension between Dexter and Scarlett. Also some problems arises and Dexter to the rescue. A wonderful read I think you will like!
