Catch the Magpie is the first in the MAGPIE SERIES that follows the descendants of Maeve O’Leary, a mysterious woman, reputed to be a witch, whose legacy extends down the generations. It tells the story of Catherine Richardson, a rich young woman who is the toast of NYC until a vision from the distant past pulls her from the West Side of Manhattan to the wilds of West Cork to discover a family secret. The second book HER KIND recounts the story of Maeve O’Leary in 1894 as she arrives in the village of Killkeam and the terrible events that unfold there alongside her illicit romance with the local curate. It will be published in June 2012. The third book ANNIE’S STORY is scheduled for late 2012. Though linked to one another, each can be read as a stand-alone book.

Tina Pisco has worked as a professional writer for over twenty-five years, writing for every medium except radio (including internet drama and comics). She lives in beautiful West Cork, Ireland and has published novels, non-fiction and poetry.
