30 Days of CrossFit: A Look Back at the Start of a Fitness Journey

Rate this book
This is not a book of exercises or workouts or an introduction to the sport of CrossFit. This is one bookworm's journey from being a person who never did anything very athletic to being a person who does CrossFit. A person who never did a pull-up became a person who can do multiple pull-ups.
I started my CrossFit journey five years ago, and I still haven't made it to the Games - not even as a spectator. Most likely, I never will. That's not what CrossFit is really about, not for the vast majority of us who do it every week.
It's about getting started.
It's about keeping on.
It's about making goals, achieving them, and making new ones.
I started CrossFit five years ago, and I've come such a long way. Looking back, I can see that I can keep going, and amaze myself in another five years with what I'll be able to do then.

Relatable

I can really relate to Jeanne as I'm new to CrossFit. It was encouraging to read about her progress. I am seeing progress in just the few months I've been doing it.

A CrossFit diary

The book is basically a CrossFit of wods and reps, lifting and other techniques during the course of that time
