Dismissive of role of Fathers
The story was okay. The writing is choppy, moving from one scene to the next without a good transition.
The main thing that really bothered me that I almost stopped reading about is the main female character Liliana is keeping this huge secret and she doesn’t seem hardly bothered by that at all. But worst than that is she doesn’t seem to have any remorse or see anything wrong with the fact that she kept the knowledge from Cooper that he had a daughter. She is totally baffled that he should have reason to be upset. And she complains about the fact that she had to raise her daughter on her own! But this was her own fault!
Unbelievably the author even has Cooper apologizing for some unknown reason even though he missed out on his daughters life for five years.
I just couldn’t take the callousness and disrespect of the role of the father in a child’s life.

Secret Baby At The Cowboy Billionaire Ranch is a best friend to lovers to a second chance love story that is almost ruined before it has a chance to work out. A secret that was held from Cooper almost ruins the hope of he and Leliana having their happily ever after. Back six years ago, Cooper and Leliana were best friends that started having an affair as Leliana had loved him since high school. She thought things were fine but Cooper meets Shayna, interior designer to decorate the cabins on his ranch. She catches Cooper's interest and he tells Leliana that he didn't love her romantically, he just wanted to be her best friend like they had been before. Leliana leaves the ranch and refuses to accept calls, texts, or emails from him that he sends over the next month. That just opens the door for Shayna to fall for Cooper and marry him. About a year later they have baby Roman. Cooper is the one who cares for Roman as Shayna is not a good mother. When she comes up pregnant again Cooper is excited. Or he thought he was until the birth of the second baby.
Leliana tried calling Cooper two months later. Shayna had his phone and refuses to give him the urgent message to call Leliana back. After a few days she texts him then emails him to no avail. She knew that it was no good so she stopped and Sent in with her life starting her vet career.

I enjoyed every minute of this sweet and wholesome second chance best friends to lovers romance with unforgettable characters that captivated me immediately and kept me glued to the book until I read the last word. I loved the dynamic between billionaire rancher Cooper and equine vet Leliana when he calls her to help him with his favorite ailing horse Garnet. Ms. Hart never disappoints whatsoever I can hardly wait for her next book to bring me another afternoon of reading pleasure. I received an advance reader copy of "Secret Baby and the Cowboy Billionaire Ranch" and am voluntarily leaving my review.

I have to admit to a weakness for any romance tale involving a billionaire. I think I’ve been holding a grudge out fir my sweetie that (over 35 years ago) on our honeymoon he didn’t tell me that he was secretly a billionaire. (*Sigh*). At least I’ve great stories like Hanna Hart’s

You’ve got a wonderful (unknowing) dad in Cooper and a really great mom in Leliana. Add in writing that comes with the territory with a great storyteller like this one and the result is pure fun that’s easy to recommend.

Ummm…
I’ve read books by Ms. Hart before, but until now had not read one where the boyfriend and girlfriend were sleeping together. I’m not comfortable with that, even if there are no graphic scenes or language. I will not be reading any more of this authors works, and I find myself supremely disappointed. I don’t like giving negative reviews.

An interesting story but not sure that it classifies as clean. It didn't contain sensual bedroom scenes.
