Destiny has come for the endeavors of the Vihaan II. Malik and Richter face off for the last time and only one will survive. Their uncertain futures will be forever changed by a shattering discovery.
Great concept and idea but the dark colors in the art is starting to make this tough to read. Al Ewing throughout this series likes to just jump to the past then back to the present. So with the characters being younger and this really nice art that’s way too dark and muddy, it gets really hard to tell who is who, which is turn is starting to make this harder and harder to follow along with.
You’ve got to be kidding with that death. How convenient to the max. I feel like the story will restart and new people will go down the same path for the entire next volume. So maybe we’ll get actuals answers in volume 3, but maybe not. Also, very convenient.
WELL THAT WAS SUPER DISAPPOINTING. I really liked this series and the uniqueness of the story, but this issue made NO SENSE. The conversations kept overlapping, so I wasn't sure who was talking at times. Then the end?? How did Georges get into whatever he was in? What happened to Paula? WHAT WAS THAT? Ugh, so frustrating.
Bleh. Didn't get it. Tired of straining my eyes to work out what on earth is going on in the ostensibly lush but incomprehensible artwork. Don't care about the characters. The setting was cool but that was the only successful aspect, afaic.
