Miss Kirby's Room

When the dollar disappeared from Nick's cubby-hole, the whole class was upset. Miss Kirby, the teacher, wouldn't read Treasure Island until the money was put back, and the boys and girls started to look suspiciously at each other. It wasn't until the problem was resolved that the class realized they had learned a good deal about themselves and the difficult situation they shared.
