Having recently discovered the Enneagram, and learning that my husband of 35 years is a 6, I desperately, genuinely wanted and needed to understand what that means, what it looks like in his life, and how I can live with him with awareness and grace for how God created him. This book was exactly what I needed! Elisabeth not only explained what it looks like to be a 6, with strengths and weaknesses, she explained the diversity within the number and how each strength is a reflection of our Creator and each weakness or fear is answered completely, only in Christ. Each day, she used the Word of God to validate and encourage, while showing a 6 how to recognize and deal appropriately with the fear and anxiety that can plague them,” weighing their thoughts and feelings about God against what He says.”
My favorite part was the Shift in Focus sections, where the author challenged us to examine these fears and motivations in the light of the gospel and God’s love for us.
The book is incredibly insightful, instructional and a wonderful tool for any 6, or anyone who loves a 6!
