As we are transforming into something which is better and grand in every sense than what we have been dealing with before, it becomes a necessity that we also try to automate as much as we can in order to reduce manual efforts.

For this, it becomes quite essential that we are acquainted with the new budding technologies and progresses that are being made each and every single day.

Serveless Framework is one such advancement in the above said development. Regardless of whether we are from Developer background or not, Serverless is the word that has gained quite a buzz in the past few years, and so its quite inevitable that we would have heard about it in some point of time.

Basically, Serverless is a computing model that provides the ease of running your application in the cloud without dealing with the hassle of managing the infrastructure.

Whether switching to Serveless is viable option or not, however depends on case to case basis, but more often than not, its seemed and proved to be rather beneficial for the users.

Many times, I have found that after reading something, I feel like I know everything that there is about that concept. However when that knowledge is put to test is when the difficulties begin to arise. So, what I liked about the book was that after the end of every chapter, we have the opportunity to challenge our learnings and be certain if we have grasped everything or if there is a need to revisit some concept again.

The author has done a commendable job of explaining everything in minute details regarding Developing, Testing and lastly deploying the Serverless project. It is for sure a valuable guide book for all those who are interested in knowing more about this. Hence I am going to give this book FIVE SERVERLESS STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

They covered the usage of API Key and resource
restrictions with policies as it applies to the example project. The applications of Lambda
Authorizers, VPC configuration, and the storage of secrets are not covered in this book but a
highlight of the features will be provided.

Using the Serverless Framework cuts down on the manual steps
involved in setting up the AWS resources. Serverless
computing reduces the required time it takes to deliver apps

The book is a textbook approach towards understanding AWS and its attributes especially today when it is much more prevalent and required more than anything else. The book has easily comprehensive chapters with keynotes using pointers which makes the reader to read it without finding it monotonous and boring. Given the fact, that the book is inclusive of strategies recommended not only for developers but also for those who wish to explore this field in an intricate detail. ⁣

The chapters and small and includes infographics/pictures for understanding it better and giving it more of an informal touch rather than making it formal and descriptive like most other textbooks. The book is significantly designed to cater to the needs of this technological generation thereby establishing it in a more accurate context. With author's experience and knowledge, the book has definitely delivered what is seeks and one can find it insightful and helpful especially in case of problems and issues which most of the texts and content could not resolve. ⁣

The book is surely appreciated for those who wish to a level up in one's own career and from the beginning till end, something new to be known is waiting for the readers.
