Bridge and Nicole take on a cold case, which quickly spirals into something more than they bargained for. A PI previously hired to look into the case mysteriously disappears. As Bridge and Nicole investigate, the clues lead them to the government agency they used to work for. The job takes them on several twists and turns, with Bridge and Nicole running into rogue agents, ex-spies, and a trip to Greece, where they will finally learn the truth about what is really going on.

The Extractor series is easily my go-to action/suspense thriller that is light hearted and a cross between the '80s TV shows Moonlighting, the Equalizer and Magnum P.I. Even though Luke Bridge is not in the private investigation business, he took a case he'd normally would leave to the cops or P.I.s. However, this case is taken on (at the urging of Nicole but rather reluctantly) involving the disappearance of the brother of a new client followed by the strange disappearance of the private investigator that the client hired for the case. What Bridge discovers in this case is much bigger than any ordinary disappearance and mystery he had encountered in recent memory and particularly the players involved to include some familiar faces from Bridge's past. I liked this fast paced story as it introduced new characters and a collaboration with a team overseas that added to the element of the story. As I mentioned in previous reviews, I like this series because it's different in its style and delivery than author Mike Ryan's other characters and books. I would like to see some team ups of some of the characters at some point. Hopefully there will be room in some future stories where that may happen. Recommended.
A little mushy ending, but the action made up for that slight dip. Dalton was guilty of stealing, albeit she did let Abbot go. Overall a great read. I’ll continue reading the rest of his books.
I'm reading greedily and before I know it I'm on the last page. Luke and Nicole once again finding themselves in a dangerous situation, but they are good at what they do.
This item an under cover operative goes missing & his brother is desperate to find him. He comes to Bridge begging for his hèlp to find his brother's murder. When they find an even bigger puzzle.
