I really liked the first book in this series and wasn’t disappointed by this book at all. Now we have Harry/Bullet and Celia’s story. They both were set up on a date but with the past they both have there are definitely obstacles for them to get over. Bullet really deals with trust issues but its undeniable the chemistry they both have. This was full of MC action and it took me on one heck of a rollercoaster ride.
Devil’s Bullet is the second book in the Steel Knights MC series by Ivy Black. This book follows Harry aka Bullet and Celia’s rocky journey. The author did a good job writing the characters in the story. The characters were real and believable. I was rooting for Bullet and Celia being together threw the whole book. They both have traumatic past that seem to be driving them toward there own destruction. With Bullet’s trust issues coming up again and again can he trust Celia with his heart in the end? As the Steel Knights begin to rebuild will all of their hard work be ruined from within?
Bullet is the "books" man for the club. Numbers have always been easy for him. He takes pride in his work, and knows exactly what the club can handle. Bullet is an introvert. He is not a people person. His trust has been broken too many times to count, especially from women. When he loses a bet, the consequences are to ask out a woman. Her name is Celia. Celia meets Bullet at the local hang out for the MC. She sexy, confident, and makes a lasting impression on a few of the brothers because she is so beautiful. The date she goes on with Bullet leaves a lasting impression not only on her, but Bullet as well. Readers: Bullet and Celia are all over the place in this book. There are complications that each one brings to the table, but some secrets are just lies. I like Bullet extremely well. He did not sugarcoat anything. He tells it like it is without apology. When he realizes he has judged a few people to harshly, he becomes an extremely humble man and chooses to change. Celia I had mixed feelings about. I thought she was extremely gullible, childish, and shallow at times. Her emotions and reactions were all over the place, but if she messed up she tried to make it right. I do recommend this book.
Much, much better than the first one. It wasn't perfect but rarely anything is. The worst was it started to drag and get repetitive.
This was Harry's, Bullets and Celia's book. After everything that went down in the last book the club had a lot to change and positions to fill. Pres. wants Harry as his VP. He is comfortable with just being the book keeper and doesn't like change. Something else he doesn't like is women. He's straight and has a hook up when he needs it but that's about it. Total trust issues. Not just with women but especially women. We do get the full story of that and I understand some what why.
Celia lost her father when she was just a teenager from him and her godfather being in a bad accident. She has taken care of her godfather, Darrien, ever since. He's in a wheelchair so she does everything for him while trying to work. Darrien wants revenge and wants Celia to get it. Says she owes him and she owes her father.
This book is full of so many lies and half truths. It has a lot of turns and twists and plenty of hot steamy naughty bits so adults only please. Guess I will continue this series... still hoping for the first couple to be able to come back.
Okay so after reading the first book, it left me thinking expect the unexpected. Did I learn my lesson? NO! Why because I got sucked into this story. So lets meet Bullet aka Harry. Now he has issues but then again I think all the men in this club have issues. What are the issues he has? It is that he does not trust women. Which in a way he has a good reason. Well like a little bit, anyways he finally goes on a date with someone that another club member set up. Lets meet Celia, now this girl is like the perfect package right? Yeah well she has secrets and these secrets can really break a person. Now Harry learns a couple of lessons and is slowly understanding what he has done to people in the past. Again he blames that on women in the past. So as he is working through those issues, Celia is slowly breaking through his barriers. Now the only thing that I was not a big fan of was how Celia was acting but I do acknowledge that it is her character. So what will happen? Will Harry lose his position? Will Celia come to her senses? Be prepared to cry at the end!! Enjoy
Bullet is the second book in the Steel Knights MC series by Ivy Black. I read the first book Phantom and loved and couldn’t wait to get a hold of this book too. This book was even better then the first book in the series. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes MC books. This book follows Harry aka Bullet and Celia’s rocky journey. The author did a good job writing the characters in the story. The characters were real and believable. I was rooting for Bullet and Celia being together threw the whole book. The kings are rebuilding and are still in protection mode. To the outside world they look vulnerable, but on the inside they are looking for payback and are fighting mad, and taking actions to correct it. When Bullets trust issues come out when he is starting to see Celia, he has to figure out of he wants to give up all together, let her go , or trust her. This book as well as this series, is a great insight into the world of MC’s and the people who make them work.
The Steel Kings are starting to rebuild but are still vulnerable, with (Harry) Bullet and Celia relationship starting to bloom will Bullets trust issues cause them problems or will they be warnings? This is well written book 2 in the series with an engaging story line and chemistry bursting characters.

Bullet doesn't trust women. He made Tess's life hell when she was VP. When a new female member puts him in his place you a change in him happen. Then Celia broke his trust thanks to her lying godfather and you get a heck of a great read.
Just another ploy rename the book or put in a collection. It still should show up in you kindle that you have bought these book even if in a collection. So enjoy!!
Ok, Bullet doesn't trust women, and in this case he let others influence his gut when he shouldn't have. I have one issue with this story. I could be wrong, but why is anyone paying money back that was never missing???? She changed some numbers in a ledger, but never actually took any. I'm confused. It didn't make sense.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the second book in the Steel Knights MC series and is about Bullet and Celia. These two have a lot of chemistry but have to get past the roadblocks to find their happiness. He does not trust women and she wants revenge. Their story has plenty of drama, danger, betrayal, twists, lust and love. He will have to trust his heart and Celia. She learns that secrets and lies are what have kept her going. I thought this was a good story with characters that draw you in. I was happy to see the ending these two broken people find together.

I had a hard time with this book, I found myself picking it up and putting it down several times. The story just dragged a bit for me and the back and forth with Celia and her indecisiveness drove me nuts. And misogynists' are the worst in my book, Bullet had an excuse to not like women, I get it, but he ran Tess off - at least he had the decency to feel bad about it. I really enjoyed the first book so I was a bit disappointed with this one. These books are standalone so hopefully the next one will be better.
