Books 4-6 in the laugh-out-loud The (un)Lucky Succubus reverse harem series featuring one reluctant Succubus and the sexy demons determined to claim her.
Adie and her sexy demons of destruction are finally together, but something evil stalks her, invading bakery and putting those she cares about in danger.
The (un)Lucky Succubus is an urban fantasy reverse harem series that will make you laugh and curl your toes.
Pacific Northwest author L.L. Frost writes urban fantasy and paranormal romance with snarky characters and descriptive world-building. Whether she's writing a fast burn romance about witches, wolf shifters, and vampires, or teasing a slow burn romance while hunting demonic monsters, her passion is for character driven novels.
Growing up in a rainforest gave L.L. Frost plenty of time to daydream while spending cozy days under a blanket with her cats by her side. Sipping tea or chugging coffee, you can find her with a book or laptop in hand, imagining new worlds.
Oh my horns and wings! I love this series! These three books are amazing. It's easy to binge read Adie's (mis)adventures with her bakery and destruction demons. One bite is never enough.
Succubus Hunted: There is an epic climax, lots of fun times, tons of action, and a truckload of flour and sugar. Adie is getting stronger, and I'm excited to see where the author takes her. I absolutely loved reading about Tally's dreamland form, and her brother, Aren, is a hoot (or an elephant's trumpet). There were some excellent plot twists, too.
I think the destruction demons might be falling in love with Adie (if they can love, that is). They seem to care for her a lot. Tac is definitely in love with her, in a monster kitty kind of way. I thoroughly enjoyed Adie's gift to him. I really like how things are getting more suspenseful and dangerous. The Hunters made me worry for Adie, and Domnall is one scary, psycho, serial killer. Julian is full of surprises. I'm liking him more.
Succubus Dreams: This is even more epic than the fourth book in the series! More action, demons, cupcakes, gross monsters, lots of fast-paced action, and a huge climax. There's some fun times, too, but this book is more about the transformation of Adie. She seems to be maturing and learning from past mistakes. I was thrilled to see that I was right about the guys and Adie's feelings for each other.
Adie and her destruction demons are amazing to read together, but she is amazing all on her own. I thoroughly enjoyed her (mis)adventures in the demon plane and Dreamland. I'm so happy to see more of the baku! I also like that Tally's guys played a big part in this book. It was pretty cool to learn more about the different types of magic. I'm loving how each story is a little different and getting more of a world(s) view.
Having said that, there are a ton of typos. I kept reading "slim" when it should have been "slime." Sometimes it's distracting and I wonder if the author just used spell-check instead of having someone proofread.
Succubus Trials: This story has lots of fun times, tons of fast-paced action, a new bad guy, a kind of return of a previous bad guy, and a truckload of flour and sugar. So many muffins! Adie and her destruction demons have all kinds of excitement and danger this time, starting with a car bomb. The plot gets more exciting, and the danger intensifies as the story progresses.
Adie is still recovering and adjusting to life after her battle with the Dreamer. She discovers a couple of surprises about herself. She might not be too thrilled about it, but I am. I'm also ecstatic about how Julian and Adie are more than just a couple of "cousins." Their friendship is stronger than most succubi/incubi have. I wanted to reach into the book and hug Julian. A few times. I would like to see if he finds love in future books.
L.L. Frost is not leaving any loose threads hanging out in her story land. Anything that has happened in a previous book just might come back for more. (Maybe the bakery's tag line of "Say YES to another bite" has something to do with that.) It just makes me even more excited to read future installments in this wonderful series.
A lot happens in this book and things start to unravel. Adie's still her amazing self, though now she's starting to fall in love for the first time ever! And apparently the guys love her too, though at times I'm confused by them.
Once again, I'd like to get to know more about the MMCs, there's little history to them and I'm so curious! They don't tell Adie anything! This is one of the reasons I'm not sure if they really love her... I understand they are old as dirt and set in their ways, but come on! Give our girl a chance! (I like that the enemies are always shifting, it keeps the series interesting).

This is a great series! Came across this recommended in a reader group and I am loving it. The world-building, storyline, and the characters' chefs kiss!
I usually like multiple POVs when reading but this author was able to suck me in with just the FMC's pov. Everything is done so well that I don't even miss other points of view.
I can not wait to continue reading this series and I highly recommend this series. This author gives us the trifecta. Plot, spice, and found family.
Starting to feel never ending… but still a good read.
Got a little too gory for me starting in the last book of this one. But still overall well written story. The introduction of other characters with no backstory did however throw me off a little.
