Call it ironic, but that's how you find yourself. This book is the secret sauce to find yourself because who can find you except yourself? And how can you let someone else be your 'founder'? Only you can find you. Only you can be your 'founder'.
The basketball that swoops down the hoop proves that not every fall is a loss. That goal proves that a fall can be a win too! Likewise, a football or a soccer ball has to be kicked to make a goal. Imagine the ball refusing to be kicked? Or the basketball refusing to fall down the hoop?
My father gifted me a crazy ball in my early years. He hit the crazy ball hard on the floor with his strong arms, and to my amazement, it bounced back until the ceiling! When I did that, I learned that the harder I hit the crazy ball, the higher it went up. My father ingrained in me an integral lesson quite early on. Taking a cue from the basketball, soccer ball, and the crazy ball, I learned that you've got to fall in love with failure. Failures started giving me a kick. Funnily enough, they became my new normal and gave me an uncanny high.

Swati carries her steel-willed (not iron-willed for iron rusts!) mother's maiden surname. Simply because her much evolved father (A Great Man ahead of time itself!) didn't believe that both- Legacy & lineage should be in the father's surname only! After all, both a sperm and an egg make a life!
Her father is perhaps the only man in the world who didn't have any qualms about letting his daughters carry his wife's surname and not his. Patriarchy? Let's talk about Matriarchy.

Swati's book has been gaining a lot of momentum and limelight since its stupendous launch.
Through her book & subtitle- "Being Your Ownmate", Swati Sharma has coined the term- "Ownmate". She says,"I'm not averse to the idea of a soulmate. In fact, love flows in the very veins of my book. I am saying that before you "recognize not find" your soulmate, there is a step before that. And that step begins with turning inwards. As one traverses this adventurous journey within, being present, aware, and accepting oneself with all that's good, bad & ugly are the cardinal baby-steps. Most of all, date your demons, make a difference in your life and others through your strengths, work on your flaws, become your best version in a world of constant App updates & versions, "rise not fall" in love with yourself, and become your ownmate. Swati studied Rhetoric: The Art of Persuasive Writing and Public Speaking from Harvard University. She is also an advanced Landmark graduate and ISTD (Indian Society for Training & Development) postgraduate. Swati won the National Award & Scholarship from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of INDIA for academic excellence in her Bachelor of Science in Hospitality & Hotel Administration, PAN INDIA. She is a staunch learning & development professional who believes that training should be democratized in organizations just like her home country. She specializes in soft skills, life skills, and coaching.

Swati Sharma's Roohani Dastaan, THE SECRET SAUCE IS YOU!-Being your 'OWNMATE' is intense ! After reading & re-reading this exemplary offering of great fervour, want to say that, Yes Ms. Sharma, YOU HAVE ARRIVED ! The language is simple, the narration is binding & the thoughts run really deep. Through this book one travels with the protagonist through the trials & tribulations she faces & uncovers one's own deep undiscovered emotions. The book is a self help book. The book talks about the different stages of life and leads the reader through a series of chapters leading them discover the best out of themself.
