Wilhelm Liebknecht (1826-1900) was a German social democrat, one of the founders of the Social Democratic Party and father of Karl Liebknecht and Theodor Liebknecht. This is one of his short stories. Based on a well-known children’s story, it is a tale of the exploiting spider and the exploited fly.
