Love- When you choose a person, and you continue to choose them over and over again, for incomprehensible reasons.
The story talks about such feelings and emotions involving two young souls, Peter and Annie, who grow up together in the same town, only to live apart in a far-distance relationship. This situation is really common these days and most such stories do not end up in happy endings. But will Peter and Annie make it together till the very end, till death do them apart?
The story begins in a village setting involving the life of a simple guy with very minimal expectations from life. Certain portions reminded me of my school days itself. The transition from student to the life of a working individual is not easy and is depicted perfectly from this story. The story is a cute romance that is fast paced. If you are new to this genre or want to read something light-hearted, this book is perfect. This is a short read and hence can be read in a single sitting itself.
I would have personally liked a little more suspense and plot twists in the story.

Love withstands hurdles in any form and no materialistic thing can compete with it.
This story is about how love let's life become more beautiful. A young love that matures in time. But can only love sufficient? What more is needed than that?
It is the story of Peter and Annie.How you value things, people or a relationship is evident in the way you nourish and worship it.
Peter's childhood and teenage has been beautifully penned with the backdrop of God's own country Kerala!
When peters young love for Annie came into full bloom, distance came in between them but the time turned out to be a contradiction.
At such places in the story the author shows that when you desire something deeply universe takes that further towards you.
Annie being always standing with Peter in all ups and downs but with appropriate twist in the plot when trust issues come in and separations play a part later makes this story a nice read for love story enthusiasts.
Most importantly the message is, you need to have faith in your relationship and the universe.

"Love Never Fade", the title suggests a love story, yes it is, but not the one we are used to reading, the happy-go-merry types. But rather it feels more realistic, what happens in the real world most often and how quickly things could change. We, human beings (especially our generation- the early twenties to mid-twenties🧑🏻), are exploring new things, learning, growing, and most importantly DREAMING. And sometimes, it could lead to something never expected, in the heat of the moment, but something which couldn't be taken back.

The story is played by Peter and Annie, our two little protagonists. The story begins with school, where Peter is a very normal school-going boy, good at studies but with a wandering mind. He is in the last years of his school, the sweet-mama-boy every mother would love to have(yeah- mine too). Anyway, the other character is, Annie. Our Mama's boy falls for this cute and intelligent girl (Typical, Yes..👀), but the destiny has something more planned, a distance for a REALLY long time. But if you are truly in love, time and distance can become bearable, Agree?🤔

About the narration, it's in the third person, with a simple and fluent language. I really liked how smooth and easy-going it was, I could read it in a single seating and I won't get up feeling tired. The familiarity with the characters makes it a good read. There were little errors but that is just some editing issues and very minor. The thing I liked the most about it it's purity, and connection with reality, unlike most of the romances. One other thing which I would like to appreciate is how the "romantic intimate moments" were described, the magic yet real elaborations felt good.✨

The climax is kind of open for the reader to interpret their own ending in their own way, although I could have enjoyed a 2-3 pages more in the end, it is good with the way it ended. It felt like, acceptance of how things are in the real world, and still make you believe in "LOVE".

Peter is a boy who is very devoted to his family and it has always been Peter's dream to free his parents from poverty and make them happy and content. Then, suddenly, one day he finds himself falling in love with a girl called Annie...
Annie, however, is soon moving away to another city and they are both shattered by the fact that they cannot be with each other. They make promises of always, and togetherness before separating.
But will their love survive the distance?
Even if it does survive the distance, will it survive what comes after?
The story is a very sweet and simple one which did not fail to touch my heart. The story felt very close to me, especially the characters... I became emotionally attached to them without even realizing it. The characters have been made up wonderfully, and even the aspect of character development in the book was great.
The writing is very beautiful. The book has a beautiful, fancy and flowery writing which is felt really nice to read. The dialogue-structures were very fine as well, though sometimes they felt slightly cliched. The pacing of the book is almost perfect and so is the execution of the plot and the story.
One of the things the story portrays which I really liked was that people change, their priorities change. And it is essential we know how to deal and cope when our partners are changing. It's important we are there for them and understand their needs, preferences and choices, especially as long as we know we are loved.
In that terms too, again the character portrayal was amazing. The way we find the characters changing with time, evolving and the way they deal with their partners changing... It has been remarkably well-done.
It was surely quite a beautiful experience reading it. It was very interesting, kept me intrigued and the whole story felt very close to my heart.
Would highly recommend especially for beginners looking to read romance books.

QOTD: A book with which you have a deep connection and reminds you of your story?
Love - A feeling that one can't explain just by words. It requires something more than words, and what would it be? It would be sparing time for your loved ones or just listening to them or sitting beside the window holding a cup of hot chocolate and admiring your loved one! (The GVM fan inside me is freaking out now, GVM IS THE BEST, ISN'T HE? Oh, should I even ask you that he is a bliss)
Love has its own meaning for everyone, which means that it changes from one perspective to the other. To derive what love is, you could say that love is a magical feeling that just touches your soul to know where the other part is. But here, Peter and Annie have found their soul. However, still, there are not with each other because of several reasons. I really liked how the book has created the characters so realistically that one can relate to everything that happened in their lives.

Writing is lucid, which works for beginners. Still, even you are not a beginner, you can pick this book up as the book's essence will work for all kinds of readers as the plot and the writing are very well crafted. But the thing is that I feel that the cover page is too dramatic because of the cover page I thought that this book has a lot of twists and a different kind of ending. However, I enjoyed the ending but a little disappointed, so I am unsure whether it is because of the cover page thingy or expecting more from the book's plot.
But this will be a great read if you connect with the story and go deep and deeper into it.

💕 A beautiful love story of Peter and Annie. Peter is an intelligent guy from the school but belongs to a poor family unlike Annie. He believes that he can be successful if he studies very well and earn more and more so that he can bring stability to his family. Annie, a pretty girl from a rich and well educated family. Her parents are educated and supportive.
💕 The story focusses mainly on the two lovers, starting from their teenage to the adolescent life. They stood by each other and they have a beautiful and interesting love story. Later when they get married, the main plot begins over there. The climax is super interesting and shocking to read. But will there love story end till the last? Will they live like happily married couple? Will they prove themselves an ideal couple?
Must read the book to get all the answers.
💕 The story is perfectly narrated by the author. The author has explained a lot of incidents very beautifully making me remember my past. The book is of around 100 pages and a quick read. I was so busy reading this book that I couldn't take my eyes off for even a second. Loved it truly!

This is a short read of 105 pages. The book is divided into 18 chapers. The book has been well-edited. The writing style is beautiful. The language is good. I always love a book with good English language.

This book is about Peter and Annie, who fell in love with each other when they were in their teenage years. They were ripped apart by distance for five years, but that couldn't do anything to their love. They were their for each other through all the ups and downs you can imagine. It's just like they grew up together. This is a simple and sweet love story.
Coming to the charchaters, I really liked the way author created the characters and the were each give a role to play in the story. There could've been more to the story of characters, as I found that the author focused more the the main characters. A little more description of some side characters could've been better.
The plot of the book was interesting, but again I found this to be our typical Indian romance story. But when it comes to the end of the book, you either hate it or love it. I wasn't quite expecting the ending, but there it was. Again, a little more description of some incidents could've been better. And a little more given to Peter and Annie would've been fun to read.
I didn't find the plot that intriguing. It didn't quite have a hold on me, as I couldn't find anything that was new, you know, this felt like the typical Indian romance we've reading for years. A little bit of spice and something more could've been better.

We all have a past which we don't like to reminisce but still, it pops up at times. Teenage is a phase of life when we all would be very keen to explore every kind of emotions be it love, betrayal, heartbreak, etc, etc,... Love never fades by Kingsley Kurien is a stereotype romance fiction that sets in the early 2000s at Kerala and Bangalore. Peter and Annie are the two protagonists or we can say that they are the only characters that story focused on. Peter is from a poor family. We all know what are all the circumstances those kids will face in this society. On the other hand, Annie is from a well educated and settled family. Love blooms between them when they stepped into teenage. So, the story flows and subsumes the 3 stages of their life which are early teenage, college period and Adulosence stage. It narrates how they carry their love at these 3 stages. The climax is something unexpected.
Being a romance book it's okay to focus only on protagonists. But I think even side characters are equally important and they really can make the story more spicy and intriguing. Sometimes it's tiring when the story focuses only on 2 characters time and again. Narration and the plot could be more interesting. Overall, I'll suggest this book to beginners and if you like typical love stories then go for it

This is like a beautiful short and simple story.
The story opens with a well crafted introduction of Peter, Living with his Father Ipeachen and mother Mariamma in a thatched roofs, leaking during monsoons, banana leaves replacing plates.
In the introduction of peter author embeds this line, "Irrespective of who stayed with them or went away, poverty was one friend and fiend who never left their side."
Being in poverty costed him his education and further progress.
But in this dark room the unexpected light of being someone important for someone makes a big difference.
This is the story of Peter and Annie, a very natural and beautiful story that gives a lesson to remember.

There is a room for the writing elements to be improved and that improves the whole story a lot.

INSIGHT- Love Never Fades is a simple, sweet love story of Peter and Annie. The two come from very different socio-economic backgrounds and with time, together they face the trials and tribulations of love. Love is a beautiful emotion of life, but every emotion has different shades so as love. In this book the author narrates love story of two ordinary yet simple youngsters, Peter and Annie. The love story begins in schooldays and blooms like aromatic Keralite fragrance till their collage-days. Life changes after collage, in the same way this story also changes after collage and with professional life the trouble walks in.

Being the hopeless romantic, I am, deep deep down, I always try to go back to romance in hopes of being charmed by the characters or the story. To be reminded of the power that this all consuming holds over us, as humans, even if we choose to deny it over and over again. Love never fades is a story about a love that's persistent, ever lasting, the kind that knows no bounds and transcends time and all the changes it brings. By, no means it is a perfect story. It's not even the kind that makes you want to fall in love again. It's the kind where you wish nostalgic for a teen romance that you never even had in the first place. And that's huge coming from someone like me. It's a simple story of two people who keep straying away from each other more than they get to stay together but somehow they're able to get past all the hurdles life throws their way. It does makes you think if such a love exists where no matter what happens, you will find your way back to the one person you were supposed to be with, from the start. I'd recommend it to avid romance lovers.

⚜The author had a magic spell in his pen I guess. Through his great spell with his wand like a pen, he mesmerizes us with his depiction.
⚜Peter's childhood, his actions, the desires, and his feelings are very portrayed which made me dive into the play with a warm breath of freshness and the beauty of eccentricity.
⚜The story in the background of one village in Kerala to Banglore to Mumbai and the slender slope of the tale from childhood to adulthood.
⚜The intrinsic bondage between Annie and Peter with the depths of elevation in love. But I was disappointed with the ending. The ending could be better but as it said "love never fades" at least in one heart forever rather in both souls.

It was so easy to read and gentle. I appreciated the author's writing style and enjoyed the portrayal of the incidents and characters. I have enjoyed a few citations and how innocent and still complex love can be seen. The writers weave a lovely narrative to deepen love history. Our protagonists Peter and Annie are average citizens, who one day attempt to face the difficulties of life.

It's a love story of a poor boy named Peter living in a remote and beautiful village of Kerela. He had an eye for Annie who was his classmate from the previous school he studied in. Everyday while going to school he saw Annie and the two fell in love. But they were ripped apart as Annie shifted to banglore for studies and this left peter devastated. Will they be able to make it together?
It's a short and simple love story which will appeal to romance lovers. The language is simple. However I didn't find anything unique in the plot.It's a light read for those who like romance fiction.

Love is a wonderful feeling that stands apart from the reliance on any materialistic factors. Set in the backdrop of Kerala, the book narrates the pure love of Peter and Annie. A promise of love they made at their teenage, that even conquered the distance and time, existed as each other’s strength, eventually found something missing in it.
The story is well penned in lucid language and I personally loved the beautiful portrayal of the God’s own country- Kerala- my homeland. The touch of Kerala culture makes the plot realistic and nostalgic. The simple story, with the efficiency of the author in conveying powerful emotions, left me in tears by the end of the book.

A frictional sentimental romantic tale set up in 2000s portrayal story of two standard individuals meeting one another and how their life changes after that.
