I decided to read this because I had loved another book from the same author ("Rien ne résiste à l'amour"). Well, what a disappointment this is! I have never disliked a main couple this much. Diane is spoiled, egotistical, lazy and mean. I think a little bit of pride could've made her somewhat remarkable (as you would need some kind of superpower to be so flawed and yet have so many people in your clutches). But she's also weak and shameless (as in, happy to spend her ex husband's money willy nilly, and ready to beg him for his attention any.single.time. You know, this guy (Bruno) is actually a sadic, and she needs therapy to escape from this toxic relationship. BUT, I'm not too worried because I think Bruno will in time come to fear the monster he has created. This book raised my blood pressure, I just know it. I need something mild, cute and uncomplicated next, to wash off the bitter taste of bile in my taste. Oh and I think this book has the most f.d-up ending I've yet seen (beating even Makeshift Marriage ).

En gros, le livre est nul parce que les personnages sont des bobos gâtés, immatures et énervants. Je pensais que j'allais avoir quelque chose comme "Rien ne résiste à l'amour" de la même auteur, mais en fait non! Quelle déception ce roman franchement, heureusement qu'il n'est pas long. Diane, l'héroine est détestable, son mari on en a pitié au début mais sur la fin, il devient louche. Je pense qu'il est sadique et manipulateur. Et elle, elle a vraiment besoin d'une bonne thérapie pour voir ce qui lui est arrivé dans son enfance ou dans une autre vie pour la rendre comme ca.
