Jason Paul was born in a small town in Western Pennsylvania. He is a powerhouse Dad, who enjoys spending time with his Daughter, Family and his Boston Terrier. You're sure to see him with a backwards baseball cap on and his Chef's pants which he cuts into jams. He uses his creativity in many ways; including acting, cooking and writing. He is making his children's book debut with Lighting Bug Lights.
I can say the illustrations are bright and whimsical. Lightning bugs are magical and I've only seen them one time--at Michigan State U in Lansing one evening as we were walking through the campus back to my car after eating dinner. The friend I was with was very nonchalant but I was super excited. So I can see that Ella would be excited too, but the dialog is too overwrought. The text is in inconsistent and awkward rhyme and sometimes hard to read against the illustrations.
