It started on a dance floor after too much tequila and ended with looking into the handsome face I never thought I’d see again. In person, at least.

I saw his face all the time on magazine covers.

To the world, he’s Parker Callahan—famous rockstar.

To me, he was the boy I loved, the stepbrother who left me behind to follow his dreams.

After our tequila-fueled encounter, he

“You're so warm—so wet,” he breathed against my skin. “I’m gonna fill you up with my cum.”

“Yes. Please.”

“Look at you, getting fucked raw, begging for my cum. All with the doors open for anyone to see.”

I flicked my eyes outside, knowing no one was there, but liking the extra shot of adrenaline at the thought of someone out there.

“They’re probably watching these perfect little tits bounce from how hard your pussy is taking my cock.”

“Oh, god,” I whimpered. He knew how much it turned me on—h

Parker and Nova were teenagers when the both fell in love with music, art and each other. Unfortunately, as new step siblings, there was never an appropriate time for their love to blossom. When Parker’s big break presented itself, Nova remained behind adjusting to heartbreak and resentment.

Once upon a time, you’d forgotten me as quickly as you’d known me.

Fast forward 5 years and both are accomplished in their field. Parker is lead singer of The Haunted Obsession with i

this book was a chaotic mess, but so is my mind so pls excuse if i'm all over the place. i liked some parts, but then hated other parts and it just felt lacking to me overall. i was excited for this because, from the blurb, it reminded me of Ghosted (which i loved) but disappointed is the only thing i feel after finishing the book. :(

‼️ SPOILERS for this book and i mention something that might be considered spoilers for The Boy on the Bridge by Sam Mariano and Fragile Longing by Cora

I’ve never been a fan of the whole stepsibling trope because most the stories I have read in the past just weren’t executed well for my taste. See, in my world/brain, there’s nothing taboo about falling in love with a stepsibling and I find it ridiculous when those stories are marketed in that fashion. So I just mostly stay away all together. But I just met Fiona and her word wizardry, and I really like what she did with Blame it on the Champagne, so here are. Well, she went all in and won the j ...more

Ahhh!! Nova and Parker...swoon! I loved these two so much! Slow burn build up to hot, steamy scenes and angst leading to heart eyes and so much love for these two! Rock star and supernova are everything! The girl gang continues next with Raelynn’s story and judging by the snippet at the end, it’s going to be another knockout by Fiona Cole!!

”Parker and I harmonized, closing out the song with the last chorus, standing almost chest to chest as we sang together. I didn’t know what perfection was, but this had to be close.”

Fiona did it again, y’all! Let me tell you that I DISPISE step-brother romances but then you’d be like “apoorva you gave this 4 stars” and my one word answer will be “Fiona”. The fact that i usually don’t enjoy step-brother romances but i enjoyed this speaks volumes! When, I read the first book in the s

I know I’ve said this before, but those were just practice runs for this...
No hesitation. No maybe. No tie with another. It’s hands down my favorite.
She was unapologetic with the level of angst Nova and Parker put us through.

do you hate women? bcos if so, you’ll love this book xx😘

this is so outdated omg. can authors stop writing these kind of stories? it’s 2021 people. this is the second book in several days that felt like it was published years ago, not recently. this was such a disappointment and felt like it should have been published back in 2013.

i was so ready for this to slap. the angst. the pining. the chemistry. with some of my fave tropes rolled into one?

rockstar romance?✅

step-sibling romance?✅

I’d never had the all-consuming urge to go, go, go until we were one. I’d never had the urge to crawl inside someone and never come out. Until him.

I'm a sucker for a second chance romance. Something about the feels and angst of it just does it for me. Add a rockstar into the mix, and I'm so sold!

This one had a bit of a mystery element to it that hooked me from the very first page. The story is told in alternating past and present, with the majority of the story taking place

The world loves him and his music, but I loved him first.

Blame it on the Tequila is here! This second-chance, forbidden, rockstar romance is Nova's story, and we know who comes out to play when there's tequila--Naughty Nova. Add in sexy rockstar, Parker Callahan, and fireworks will explode!

A solid second chance read with frustrating moments. I don’t blame the h for running. Both the H and the h were late teens when an opportunity of a lifetime presented itself for the H. They still had so much to learn about communication and compromise. When the h got caught up in a horrible thing (which the H and his band mates had shrugged off the threat) they still weren’t communicating properly.

Feelings were hurt and so when they caught up years later, the chemistry was still there but they n

Wow. I knew Fiona Cole could write emotional, tortured characters and their heartbreaking journeys to recovery, but I didn't know she could write angst like this. Blame It on the Tequila is a masochistic slow burn with emotion and heat that jumps off every page. I was sucked in from the prologue and held captive until the very last sentence. Every time I thought I knew what was going to happen, Cole spun me in a completely new direction. I had no choice but to throw my hands up and enjoy the rid ...more

This was my first book by this author and I must say - wow! I’m so blown away with this story and I’m so glad I gave in after seeing the book a lot on bookstagram and dived in.

It was for sure an emotional roller coaster. One of the reasons why I love this book so much is that we got a glimpse of the couple in the prologue when they were young, and there obviously were unanswered questions arising, before it moved to the present, five years later. The author did a great job by jumping from the p

This book had all sorts of great tropes wrapped up in one book and I really enjoyed it. It was an easy read and great writing style. I didn't realize there would be so much angst and emotion and I loved that! I loved the chemistry between Nova & Parker. As teenagers, their connection, though forbidden, was really sweet. As adults, that chemistry was still there, although I felt like there could've been more growth in the present chapters. I felt like there were some missed opportunities and we d ...more

As with every book I read from Fiona, I was completely captivated from the start. This story is angsty, slightly taboo, insanely hot and oh so addictive when you read it.
Nova is an artist who stays away from the spotlight due to a tragic event from the past and Parker is a rock star.

Their love story is intense, there was so much sexual chemistry between them but they were never able to act on it. The story filter

Rockstar, step-brother and the second chance romance? Sign me up! Blame It on the Tequila is a perfect combination of these three. When I’ve read the little hints abot Nova's story in the previous book in this series, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. Blame it on the tequila is an emotional roller coaster following rock star Parker and his stepsister Nova. I was so excited for this book because I expected there to be angst from a forbidden relationship on top of Parker being a rockstar and Tequila did not disappoint. Nova is incredibly creative and filled with a soul of art. She is tasked to help Parker's band write songs for their upcoming album while facing unresolved feelings head on. Meanwhile Parker has never moved on from his feelings f ...more

Aaah, this cover! I adore! I love! Everything about it. The setting. The lighting. The pose. The knowledge the models are a real-life couple. OMG!

…and the couple they embody? Parker Callahan and Nova Hearst.

Boy, it’s been a while since I hated a hero in non-dark romance as much as I did Parker in the beginning. I’m still not that certain if the way he disappeared on Nova on such an awful time in her life was justifiable. Thankfully, Nova seems to be much more forgiving than I am, lol. I mean … I

“Parker wasn’t mine. He was my stepbrother. A stepbrother I let sneak into my bed most nights. A stepbrother that created a heat burning across my skin. A stepbrother that made me want things I’d never wanted before.”

I absolutely adored this forbidden stepbrother/rockstar romance. Such a slow angsty burn but the wait was definitely worth it!!! This story flips from them being teenagers living under the same roof to the future 5 years from then. Parker and Nova had so much chemistry it jumped off

Things to note about this story:
1. Rock star - hot
2. Supernova
3. Step-sibling attraction
4. Second chance romance
5. Abandonment and anxiety issues
6. Parent issues
7. Tattoos and piercings - definitely hot!
8. Art and songwriting

This story has so many layers… a definite slow burn. We get glimpses of the past, along with what is going on in the present. This is a truly believable story, and not over the top at all - which is something that I was happy with.

Blame it on the Tequila is now one of my favorite Fiona books. She's taken heartache, angst and tragedy to a new level with Nova and Parker's story. Throw in a touch of forbidden, rock and roll, art, absolutely mesmerizing scenery—of nature AND packed concert arenas—THAT INSANE SLOW BURN, and this book becomes a whole vibe.

Nova and Parker’s story is so sweet and endearing at first. They are both immediately drawn to each other and feelings grow deeper fast. Their circumstances keep them guarded

Holy. Molly. What a ride!!!
I don't think any story in this series, future or past, could be more intense, heartbreaking, emotional ... more anything ... than Parker and Nova's.
Ms. Cole has once more outdone herself with this sexy, hot, epic stepbrother-slash-rockstar-slash-second-chance story and its thrilling plot that had me on the edge of my seat and my heart racing. I could have bet that she wouldn't be able to top this book with the next in the series, but the glimpse she gives into Rae's

Cute. I like second chance and friends to lovers but I do wish the chapters with them in the past were not as frequent. But still super cute and also extremely steamy. I did love Nova and Parker together.
