This book would make a great gift for anyone in the ages 10-14 or cat lovers. Whilst explaining the, sometimes, unexplainable behaviour of our feline friends (and how they spend their time on their outdoor adventures), it also gives vital lessons along the way about trust, friendship, loyalty, and who you can rely on for all those things. The characters are witty, there are many jokes along the way (often at the expense of dogs), and the main character, Inspector White Tip, is someone you would want on your side. And Curly Whiskers is a new hero of mine!
