About the author

Gary A. Kulhanjian was born of Armenian immigrant parents and raised in New York City later Teaneck, New Jersey. He holds degrees from East Tennessee State University, William Paterson University, and Rutgers University. He has taught at secondary and collegiate levels in various institutions. His publications include: three books, numerous articles and book reviews which have appeared in journals, periodicals, encyclopedias, and other sources. He has also written the introductions of several books. He resides in California with his family.
