It’s December of 2019 and Pittsburgh is covered in a terrible fog . Even worse, the reindeer all get sick and can’t fly! Everyone in the North Pole is worried about having to cancel Christmas .
Feliz Navidog, The Story of How Santa’s Dog Saved Chrsitmas by Reya and Ari Halper. Illustrated by Priyam Mehra. Edited by Brooke Vitale. Kindle Edition. Children’s Fiction. Published 22 October 2020. 5 Stars.
Cute. Authors are a father and daughter that have a quirky solution to a Christmas emergency when reindeer are out with the flu. A fun read you’ll enjoy during this magical season.
This is such a special book written by father and daughter. The reindeer all have the flu and there is a lot of fog. Santa’s pet dog saves Christmas in this wonderfully written story with really cute illustrations.
The story of Felix Navidog should become essential Christmas reading. In addition to clever illustrations, the rhyming couplets, similar to the classic "Twas the night before Christmas . . ." are an integral part of its delight. Highly recommended.
An excellent children’s Christmas story, full of rhymes and fun. I loved some of the elves’ ideas, and to imagine a dog delivering my presents is awesome! Excellent pictures too!
This book is cute and funny. Loved the illustrations. The book teaches where there is a Will there is a Way. A definite addition to a Christmas book collection.
This book is adorable. Also, Ari and Reya Halper are just the nicest! They did a read aloud and question and answer session with my K-2 students, and my students just loved it. If you have not read it, read this book! It is so cute!
Feliz Navidog: The Story of How Santa's Pet Dog Saved Christmas by Ari Halper -- This is on kindle unlimited. A fun Santa adventure! Happy Holiday Reading!
Adorable rhyming story of trouble at the North Pole. All the reindeer have the flu, whatever will we do? Feliz Navidog saved the day with the help of a clever elf that designed a bark detecting sonar for the sleigh. My favorite part was when Feliz Navidog got distracted chasing pigeons and sniffing Santa's butt. This story took place in 2019 when Pittsburg, Pennsylvania was totally fogged in for Christmas day. The artwork depicts a very goofy "Feliz Navidog." Enjoy.
With marvelous rhymes and charming illustrations this is a story that could easily become a wonderful holiday tradition. Thanks to the daughter and father team for bringing this book to life.
