The alien’s super smart and hot to boot and he’s made his intentions clear, he wants to claim me as his mate.
Anya finds me and introduces me to her alien mate, explaining what happened to Briel, Gemma, and Ariana. Is this for real? Yet, he’s here in the flesh, larger than life. When they leave in a hurry, I’m compelled to enter Starlight Matchmaking Agency and meet my fated alien mate and travel off in the stars to a new life.
I like Xiven but he’s here because his father insisted he find a mate through Starlight. I’m not sure he’s attracted to me.
Oh well on the happily ever after. I’m in it for the thrill of travel now.
The attraction between us grows, yet I’m not sure I want to stick around, even on his home planet where trouble beckons. I find myself following him, and starting to cave to my heart’s desire.
Will Xiven be the mate I want? Will we make it to our happily ever after?
Bliss may be ready for adventure, but the culture clash gets her, in a number of ways.
Xiven knows, at his core, that they've been correctly matched, but trying to navigate someone else's cultural norms for dating is an unexpected challenge when you come from a world without dating.
This done in one Kindle Unlimited quick read is full of rich world building, and stands solidly on its own. Aspects of this story were a particularly slow burn, and might have been more obvious/straight forward if we were seeing the lead couple juxtaposed to an existing couple, but as it was the reader gets an eye full of two individuals learning to be a we.
This was the last story in the series, at least for this group of friends. Bliss was very careful and cautious about the entire thing and it wasn't until near the end of the book when they ultimately got together. The book was spent with them having missteps getting to know one another as well as the action and suspense of the conflict they were dealt in this story. It was an interesting plot and a very slow burn romance.

I’ve enjoyed each of the books in the Starlight Matchmaking series. As each girl disappeared from Earth for her alien mate and adventure, it was interesting to see what issue would befall the new couple.
While I liked each of the couples, the thing that bugged me about these books, and I think more so in the last two books, was the typographical errors. At times, it would be to the point that I’d have to read a sentence a time or two just to figure out the meaning. A better job proofreading would be helpful.
I like that the final girlfriend Bliss finally signed up and met her match. What I didn’t like was her snippy attitude about everything. I get wanting to be sure but she came off as selfish and whiny to me. Poor Xiven had to deal with two bullies; his father and Bliss. Out of all the friends she was my least favorite. I gave the book 5 stars because I enjoyed the series and if I can dislike a character this much the author did her job!
Book five in the Alien Legends series a well written story that kept me turning pages. Bliss had been visited by her friends and told about their happiness in finding their men through Charsha of Starlight Matchmaking Agency. Bliss is matched to Xiven an Amuns. There is suspense, drama, danger, twists, turns and romance. I like Xiven's surprise to Bliss near the end of the story.
