This book has some decent information, but most of it is either intuitively obvious for anyone with experience in team sports, or more effectively addressed by other sources.

The first sections, in which different execution errors and player tendencies are described, are structures without purpose. They help in identifying horribly frustrating tendencies, but do very little to talk about how to remedy each .

The most useful section deals with practice preparation - ways to create situations in which players can develop the mental skills previously discussed.

Overall this can be helpful, but the subject is better handled by "Volleyball Cybernetics" (Kellner, Cross)
