I really enjoyed reading this book. I loved the bit of history and fiction, all through a young girl's eyes. Very well written, as well. I recommend this book to everyone.

Well written, historical, interesting stories of young women encountering the technology (cameras) and challenges (voting rights) of their days. Having an apartment complex as the characters' home adds a charming detail as the reader engages with the various personalities of the residents. I read this book as an adult and see the value in how it can provide an important window for young women to not only better understand and appreciate history but also to view themselves as potential change-makers with interests, talents, and passions that can be used to promote the common good of society.

Just as good as the last. I love seeing some intertwining story lines from the first book. I can't wait to read the next one.
