About the author

Frances Vellutini writes children's literature to bring life to the everyday tales, which reflect human qualities in our kiddos. Frances is a mother to four. Some might describe her as a creative spirit, a steadfast introvert, or even an adventure seeker. The truth is, she wears many hats in this life. Her storybook writing goal is to nurture the wild within and smooth out some of life's rocky terrain for our little ones. If she can fulfill her creative spirit in the meantime, that is just a beautiful bonus.

Scribble in a Cloud

This is a unique book about a common problem. The illustrations are very helpful in the telling of this story. I highly recommend this terrific way of dealing with the problem of anger for the 4-8 year olds. The little ones can see Necky's scribble above his head and understand what bad actions will do to Necky's Scribble.

Francis Vellutini … The Scribble

A young dinosaur wakes in a bad mood and things get worse from there as he clashes with his mother over breakfast and his sister over a game that is accidentally broken. His mother teaches him how slow down, take a breath, rewind, and reset his mood. A good read for kids!

Good approach

I think the approach the author recommended in the book for turning a bad day into a good day is a good idea for everyone. My favorite line is: “My actions will always control my day.” This is wisdom for all ages.
