This is such a random review because I read this book so long ago but I’m gonna write it anyways.

I used to stay up allll night reading fan-fictions and this book already had a reputation once I got into the fandom. I started it and read it in about 3 days, literally devoting my entire life to this fan-fiction LMAOOODHSKKF I finished it and not too long later tyler announced that they’d be releasing a physical copy AND I IMMEDIATELY RAN TO MY MOM AND ASKED IF SHE COULD BUY IT FOR ME. No shit she said no but I offered to pay and she gave in. It arrived and I was beyond excited to say the least and I still love this book so much. I’ve read it 2 or 3 times at least and I can’t describe how much I love the style and writing of the book. It’s a brilliant novel and I usually get made fun of when I tell people it’s a fanfic but it’s genuinely a great book. I read it during a much simpler time in my life and I miss it a lot :) I will never not love this book.

This book is just so powerful.....back in the day when i was such a wattpad rat i found this story, but since my native language isn't english i started a translation JUST to read it well enough (i was sooo in love with the writing, so elegant and at the same time slurry... now that years have passed i kind of see where it all came from, for tyler, yk i sense a bit of shameless' core and influence, pretty much in the vast attention to neglection and violence, and i can see AHS also slip in a bit, maybe in the detailed dark and bloody atmosphere.... it just makes sense... but at the time i was just so lost in the image of richie and eddie's sickening love in such a way i coud only dream and cry about every night lol. That story meant a lot either way yk) long story short it just happened that half way through the book i stopped my translation (life was just shitting on me at that point) and i never actually got the chance to finish the reading. Until this very day, that i woke up with those memories, and reached out to the story, again, probably illegally still shared on wattpad idk... anyway, i totally had given up on it since it got taken down and everything, but tyler's talent is so unbelievable. Wherever they are in the world at whatever point of their life i hope they're keeping it up, and getting the right recognition for it, truly. I binge read it all, this time to the very end, finally able to understand the language and deeply enjoy the poetry of it. It just makes so much sense in my heart, still. I hope i'll somehow hear of this true gem of an author again, and ill toootally be there for it <3

ive read this book more than 6 times and ive annotated it !! :] i looooove this book so much. its so beautifully written and portrays teenage love so well. id recommend this book to anyone that is a hopeless romantic. i love this book & im thankful to have found it!
