Need a Goode ice queen to melt your heart? How about a steamy enemies-to-lovers romance? Maybe an irresistible age-gap to slowly drive you mad? Dive into this completed series of standalones featuring strong women who are about to meet their match. You won't regret it.
The Boxset Includes:
1. Goode News
In this enemies-to-lovers, age-gap, workplace romance, fate dictates if they’ll get a second chance at a first impression. After years of hard work as a news anchor, Valentina is at the top of her game. But when the promise of her own show fails to materialize, she learns that her new, and highly unwanted, co-anchor Madison is to blame. Resentful that the too young and unproven Madison has stolen what’s hers, Valentina sets her sights on a national morning show in New York. In the meantime, she does her best to avoid Madison. A difficult task when they have to feign friendliness on-air. Free-spirited Madison has no idea why the uptight Valentina is so impossible to please. She’s always won people over with her charm, but every attempt at befriending the ice queen only makes her more hostile. When she learns about a job in New York, she decides it’s time to leave tiny Tallahassee behind. Both their plans get derailed after a hurricane threatens the Northern Florida coast. When the two women are forced to work together without time for snarky comments and oneupmanship, they see each other in a completely different light.
2. The Goode Governor
A female governor. An ambitious exotic dancer. An unexpected love story about shattering icy barriers and pushing every boundary. Governor Georgia “George” Fernandez has just announced her re-election campaign when a scandal implicating Mila, a younger woman working as an exotic dancer, threatens to derail her run. Her quick-thinking chief-of-staff spins the disaster by having Mila, a recent graduate of George’s alma mater Goode College, join the staff. From the moment they meet, Mila and George’s interactions are fraught with tension. Mila’s direct manner and disregard for rules are anathema to George’s conservative nature and need for control. As they work together, the women find themselves drawn to each other and unable to resist the lure of a physical and emotional entanglement. Mila might be exactly what George needs to access the vulnerability she forgot existed. But George has never been one for risks, neither with her heart nor her career.
3. Goode Girls Steal
A compelling story about unexpected love, new beginnings, and second chances Goode College's star pitcher Gabby is nearing the end of her athletic career. With only one more chance at winning the national championship before she graduates, Gabby is determined to play the best season of her life and enjoy her final year with her teammates. Her plans are shattered when her biggest rival Brooke transfers to the team. If Gabby can't get over her complicated past with Brooke and focus on the most important season of her career, she will find herself watching from the dugout. As they are forced to reconnect, Gabby is faced with either forgiving Brooke or failing her team.
4. The Goode Vet
There goes the neighborhood . . . and her heart. Vanessa is content being America’s favorite reality TV veterinarian and living in her gated, island community. That all changes when a new neighbor bulldozes into her life. Literally. When Ronny wins the lottery and buys a dilapidated mansion in an exclusive south Florida town, she doesn’t expect the difficult woman next door to impede her plans of turning the home into a dog sanctuary. Can Vanessa and Ronny move beyond having gotten off on the wrong foot to nurture the spark they felt on their first meeting?
5. Goode Deal
When all’s fair in love and real estate, an experienced agent stands to lose more than just a deal. . .
I am an independent author writing about fictional lesbians of all varieties.
My writing journey began with fan faction, and as much as I LOVED being part of a community of super fans, I got tired of working with other people’s characters to tell my stories. I started asking myself: Why should we string together pieces of subtext when our community deserves well-developed main-text about LBGT people and those who love them! So, that is what I aim to deliver.
If you want to know a little more about me personally, J.J. Arias is my pen name. I do have a day job, and due to the industry I’m in, I can’t write under my given name. Although who knows, maybe one day I can write full-time and come out of the … office? I am a Scorpio woman (I know, I know, but I’m a nice one I PROMISE) happily married to a uniquely wonderful Cancer lady. Together we have several fur babies of the feline and canine varieties.
So, here I am, and I hope you enjoy my writing! I’m very open to thoughts, comments, critiques, and knock-knock jokes, so please feel free to message me with any of the above – or anything else you would like to say!
The Goode Girl series is better then Goode… on the whole it was great! With a couple of absolute stand-outs, Goode News and the Goode Governor (and one unfortunate low-light, The Goode Vet), J.J. Arias has provided an engaging, enjoyable series with excellent storylines as well as the “advertised” WLW dynamics and drama. Overall, well worthy of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, and as I found, this series will most likely encourage readers to explore more of J.J.’s work!
I have read many lesbian series and this is the most thoughtful set-up of a way to tie all the characters to one place or group- I had read the third book before i downloaded the series just to read the last two i had- I've enjoyed ALL the books- fell in love with every strong female character too- i think the 'Goode governor' was my favorite-
What a super series, a real joy to read. I particularly enjoyed Goode News, Goode Governor and Goode Deal. Goode vet was the shortest and weakest and I found the characters in Goode Steal a little annoying but overall this was a n entertaining read. The characters are great, the stories made me smile. Lots of emotion and a little heat. Highly recommended and I will be reading more by this author.
I had read the books one at a time but just finished the entire series in one sitting and it really just flowed and kept it’s engaging characters alive throughout. J.J. Arias is wonderful writer and storyteller with a great sense of humor at the same time she makes you feel compassion for the characters and their story. It’s already on my re-read list.
Good read JJ glad you anchored the middle with a great beginning & a glorious ending highly enjoyed the good girl & the deal...look fwd to my next delve in.👍
Absolutely loved this book! Written so beautiful and flowed so smoothly. The love story is a real heart boost. Loved these characters and their interactions. A delightful love story.
