Five Star ★★★★★ What a great book! Technology, food, security for The people and otherwise pretty normal lives for most citizens, except those of the security forces. The characters were well developed and either like-able or extremely hateful, which made for an exciting read, rooting for your favourites. The book was well written and flowed seamlessly from one chapter to the next, making it impossible to put down at any point. The technology created in the book for the battles was mind boggling and frightening. The human is capable of terrible cruelties towards what they consider lesser beings. I am really looking forward to the next book. Really hope I don't have to wait too long. I really need to know what happens next!!!

★★★★★ I'm always on the lookout for good sci-fi books, and I'm often disappointed by the droves of poor sci-fi out there. Which is why I was delighted to discover Information Cloud. It's an amazing page-turner which brings believable people and storyline to a fantastic science fiction universe (which is my definition of good science fiction).

If you're a fan of sci-fi (or war novels) I would highly recommend this book. I eagerly look forward to the next one.

★★★★★ What an amazing trilogy! oh my, it was such a great journey with all the characters and I love the fact that little things get revealed much later and you're all like 'oh so that's why!' and 'now that makes sense'

The characters are really thought provoking and the military-esque style of some of them really hits the mark and has a reality flavour to the description. Even for completely invented vehicles.

And I can't believe I was rooting for Lord Hades by the end parts.

Wow. One of the best reads I have had in a long time. I thought about it "off book" many times.

Don’t bother

The premise might be interesting if the world building was in place and a plot established before the writing started. As it stands, you meet a bunch of characters in the middle of their lives, as they are thrown in to crappy circumstances against enemies with mysterious motivations.. gha, life sucks and then you die unless you have mysterious superpowers… and if you read further than I did to find out what they are, kudos, even skimming I’m bored and frustrated.

Found this series to be engrossing. Plenty of action.

Really enjoyed "meeting" the various characters, some admirable, some despicable, some who became like friends. Only thing I disliked was the number of grammatical errors that seemed to show up toward the end of the books. A good proofreader would make the novels even more enjoyable. I will look forward to reading more by Peter James West.
