Matt Lincoln has lived his entire life on the coast and he wouldn't have it any other way. A lifelong fan of Travis McGee, Magnum PI, and just about anyone who knows their way around a boat and a good cigar, Matt now lives where the sand meets the surf with his beautiful wife, a son who reminds him way too much of himself at that age, and an Irish Setter who he can never seem to tire out. Life is good.

VAnother exciting adventure with the MBLIS team!

Key Raiders was exciting, dramatic, and quite the nail-biter at times! Although Marston is beginning to look like a bit of a Don Juan?! I swear, the man sees as much action in the bedroom as he does in the field! However, I couldn't put it down! By the end of the book I felt like one of his 'kids' begging for another story! Very well done! How soon until the next one comes out?

Now that I am over 60, books with multiple plots and lots of characters to follow is too much work! I like Coastal Fury because there is only one main plot and some times a minor. Characters are old friends with a few new ones to keep it interesting. Coastal Fury is in line with my other favorite writers; Wayne Stinnett, Trip Ellis and Jack Hardin. Easy and enjoyable reads with good characters.
I spent a lot of time in the Florida keys(mostly lower) when I was younger and enjoy knowing the places in the keys where the book is taking place.

Thanks for a great and enjoyable break from reality!

Haven't missed one yet!

Matt Lincoln does it again! I feel like I've just been on an adventure ! Another interesting, nail biting story where one can all but smell and feel ocean life from your coziest chair as you read! Less historical tidbits than sometimes, yet ALL the excitement and friends we as fans have come to adore! This was another really fun read, thanks Matt! Absolutely recomend all this series!

Decent story if you overlook the mistakes.

A boat is a watercraft that can be hoisted onto a ship, period. In this book Navy folks call small sailboats ships. Why would the writer make this mistake over and over and then change from "ship" to sailboat in the same paragraph? Also taking a pistol away from a bad guy and dropping out the magazine without emptying the chamber does not make it unusable, but it happens each time someone is disarmed.

I like the series but

A lot of authors do a really great job of depicting the Keys. This was terrible. He should have used a fictitious place. The characters love of the keys when it’s not in the realm was ridiculous. The same story could have been adapted to the keys I.e. shipwreck on a small key with no water. This has happened before as in finding the treasure in a cave on the coast of SE Fl but this took it to a whole new level.

Rehashing. Nothing fresh.

Honest to god. Enough of the “chuckling”. Talk about an overused word. The stories are getting stale. Ethan hooks up with a chick on every mission. Rinse and repeat. “Almost” the worse editing, and certainly in a series. If it weren’t for the fact that I want to know what happened to Holm, I’d be long gone.

Dodging bullets…

I keep saying I love these books… and I really do. The last few have had an interesting thing that kind of stuck with me. The main characters have had the ability to dodge bullets. After they’ve been shot. Mr. Lincoln - these are great books; it would make it easier if you didn’t make your characters so god-like.

Love the series, but think this story lacked substance

What has happened to the forensics and use of available technology in this series??? Also the overall tone has changed and has less depth - ghost writer(s)?

Good.

A book that's part of a series about a Federal government agency that covers the investigations of their officers during different crimes.

couldn’t put book down

I give this a 5! I didn’t want to put the book down. I couldn’t wait to see what else was coming up. It kept me up many, many nights.
