T.O. Smith believes in one thing - a happily ever after.
Her books are fast-paced and dive straight into the romance and the action. She doesn't do extensively drawn out plots. Normally, within the first chapter, she's got you - hook, line, and sinker.
As a writer of various different genres of romance, a reader is almost guaranteed to find some kind of romance novel they'll enjoy on her page.

New author (to me). Good story. 100% safe. No cheating, no ow/OM drama. A little uneven. Revealed h was an alcoholic and then next scene she has a glass of wine ?? The talent is there but needs to work on minor inconsistencies.
This book was all over the place. When the bio for the author stated that her "books are fast-paced and dive straight into the romance and the action...She doesn't do extensively drawn out plots. Normally, within the first chapter, she's got you - hook, line, and sinker", it wasn't lying. The only problem with that, in regard to this story, was that the "diving straight into" the book left the reader hung out to dry. It started four years into the marriage and just kept going. There wasn't much background info given about how they met, why, they met, or even WHEN they met. It just stated that she was 17 at the time, her father wanted her to marry the MMC in order to secure a merger between their businesses, and she caved to her father's will. The dad was never in the story, and the rest of it was such a mish-mash of plot ideas and thoughts that it felt like nothing more than a jumble of words and ideas thrown together in hopes of making for a good story...which it did not. Oh, it had potential. I'll say that for the author's attempt at writing. But this book was just all over the place, as previously stated. 99% of the story was written from the FMC's POV. But suddenly, around chapter 15, the author threw in the MMC's POV...without warning. Then it went back and forth for the rest of the book. However, the MMC didn't get more than 3-4 paragraphs before the POV changed back to that of the FMC. One of the worst things about the story was that the FMC was portrayed as a person who had a drinking problem in the past (she was 17 when they married, but at the time the book began she was 21). So when her life suddenly went to hell in a handbasket, she was falling down drunk and it was stated that she constantly had a bottle of wine in her hand...drinking from it. Umm...then it went away? What?! I couldn't give this book a rating other than two stars. The grammar and punctuation were atrocious, and the way the book just didn't meld together was enough to drop it even lower than what I gave it. However, since there was potential, I let it rest at the two-star rating. The ideas of the story were good. They just didn't flow together, and there were too many plot ideas that started and just fizzled out with nowhere to go. The whole thing needed to be taken back to the rough draft stage and re-written.
From the beginning after reading her perspective on her husband I thought I was gonna hate him. But then realized quickly I loved him.
He hadn't betrayed her those 4 years, he loved her from day one and was waiting for her. He gave away everything for her. He is everything you need in a husband.
His love for her was greater than anything else, she was all he needed!
Sometimes less is more. The author tried to force seven different plotlines into a short story with the effect that none of them were played out properly. It would definitely have been better to pick 2 incidents and have them fully resolved.
I wish the book gave a bit more background into the characters. I also wish we got more of Evans POV in the earlier chapters of the book. It was still a decent book but too fast paced to the point things were left out or not discussed further in detail.
