When amnesia turns life upside-down, how do you cope through it? Where do you go for answers? This book chronicles the amazing TRUE story of a man - a father, a husband, a pastor - who suddenly found years of memories locked away. As a father and husband myself, I was captivated and moved by what this family experienced, and truly inspired as I understood the one thing that remained through it all. Through this story, David and Shannon Carroll provide five profound life lessons that were revealed to them as a result of their trials. I can't help but find myself reviewing my own life through the lens of these lessons. This is a gripping account with a fantastic message of inspiration for all!

Eye opening

Great book! Do you ever think, I wonder if other families \ couples feel like this? There were definitely several life instances that hit home for me. Thank you for sharing your story and all the great Bible references and reminders that everyone has stresses and struggles. Blessings

An encouraging read during seasons of uncertainty

I appreciate the raw and vulnerable way Shannon and David share what they learned through their experience with amnesia. The life lessons they present are simple yet profound and apply to all of us.

Very inspiring story!

A real page turner. Couldn't put it down. Sad, funny, inspiring, raw. Although most will never share the experience of amnesia, most can identify with many of the other family and work issues discussed.
I highly recommend this book.

This book had many great life lessons within it. One thing that stood out above the rest is that you need to listen to your body/mind and take time for yourself.
