A wonderfully steamy read. Nina is excited for her upcoming Valentine weekend with her Master. He is everything she has always wanted but something still holds her back. She is determined to stop fighting herself but he has a few surprises to help along the way. Combined it makes for a wonderful read that fans of the genre are sure to enjoy. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

It has been a while since I have read a BDSM type book. Which this book was a good one. It helped me start the right path out of my reading slump. Readers who have thought about reading this type of book but have been tooo afraid to, can pick up a copy of this book without worry. It is on the "lighter" side of the BDSM spectrum. Kind of like a sampler. There is enough good things to give a new reader to this world a good idea of these types of books.
I like that Trey has a kind and gentle "master". He could have been really dominating with Nina but he was not. He really cared for her and wanted to make sure it was mutually pleasing for both of them. This in turn allowed Nina to trust Trey; especially when it came to the electroplay. For which Nina had a bad experience previously.
This book is a good read. I was engaged in Nina and Trey's story. The author wrote this story without going into tons of details while keeping it classy and spicy at the same time. I would suggest this book to a new reader wanting to try out these types of books.

It’s Valentine’s Day in Nina and Trey’s world and he plans a special treat for them. Unfortunately Nina has not communicated enough about her fears and negative experience with electroplay to Trey. So his sweetheart gift does not go over well, but it does lead to honest conversation about the toys.
I love how Blue has the couple talk it out and vow to communicate better their needs. This is a must in any Dom/sub relationship and it is true about everyday relationships too. These conversations happen in between some intimate fun involving ice, rope, and a few other things. I don’t want to spoil your fun.
Chasing the Spark is a great gift for Valentine's holiday whether you are alone with your toy or playing with others.

Blue made Chasing the Spark such a engaging story with keeping it sweet but gasp worthy in many moments. This one is a introduction to BDSM but also one for a lighter BDSM feel. Much appreciated Blue and I can't wait for the next one!
