Dr. Marshall earned BA in Philosophy from Texas A&M University, an MAR in Systematic Theology from Westminster Theological Seminary, a Certificate in Anglican Studies from Nashotah Theological House, and an MS in Philosophy from the University of Dallas.
He completed a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Dallas with the thesis “Thomas Aquinas on Natural Law and the Twofold Beatitude of Humanity.”
He lives in Colleyville, Texas with his wife, Joy, and eight children.

When friends find out you’re exploring Christianity, they may give you books to read.
My Catholic friend is just loving that I’m not shutting her down. Still not sure exactly how I feel about Catholicism, but I do know the more I find out about the rosary, the neater it becomes.
“It’s the New Testament on a string.” As I’ve heard Father Donald Calloway say.
And it really is neat how they set it up…but the glorious mysteries…the assumption of Mary and her coronation are just too weird for me. Can’t quite get to the point where those feels true…or her perpetual virginity.

A Blessing
I started RCIA in the fall of 2017 and came into church during Easter Vigil 2018. I didn't learn much about the Rosary so I decided to say it using an app... My Rosary...that you tapped each bead as you went along and recited what you read. This was very helpful and there was a scripture reading with each mystery. I then decided to start memorizing the Rosary as I thought that every Catholic knew it by heart. By this time I had started to listen to Dr. Marshall's podcasts and he had a series about the Rosary that I listened to. Since I learn better by reading I bought the the Kindle edition of this book. This book was like reading a devotional and my heart was deeply touched. This book is the best recipe for understanding the importance of praying the Rosary at least daily and its power, promises and love. I now better understand my Holy Mother and her son...my Lord Jesus. Having been a Protestant all my life...the eyes of my soul are beginning to open. As I am now seventy-five...I've realize that my 45 year old brain will not keep up with my aging body so I must not waste anymore of the precious time God gives to me.

SHORT BUT FULL OF INFORMATION
This is a great introduction to the Rosary. It contains the history of the Rosary, tips for praying the Rosary, an overview of the various ways of praying the Rosary, and all the prayers in English and Latin in the appendix. I recommend this to anyone interested in the Rosary.

Absolutely fantastic!
Dr Marshall sometimes comes off to me as a radtrad, holier than the Pope. This book however is right on the money. If you are not familiar with the rosary it will inform you. If you are, it will energize you.

I'm not Roman Catholic
Interesting little book, worth the time to read and contemplate upon.
Nice summary of prayers in the back of the book in English and Latin.
I will be reading further with the recommended books and other texts mentioned by Dr. Taylor Marshall.

I loved it!
This book was very helpful with explaining the rosary and the importance of it as a convert. I love that it included other chaplets and such for me to research.

A wonderful overview of the Rosary from its origins to the variety of Rosaries that are prayed today. This quick read provided a wealth of knowledge.
