Some churches do damage the victims may not recognize till many years later. You may not be attending a "cult" church, but after reading this, you may find your church is guilty of some of the traits. Any trait can cause damage. The "Deceit of Power" chapter hit close to home for me. A great read of any church attendee or congregant.
