It collects summaries of information from the published literature on the pharmaceutics of these medications as applied to the clinical setting in order to guide knowledgeable health care professionals, particularly pharmacists who are trained to interpret and apply the information. The monographs discuss products, administration, stability, compatability with infusion solutions and other drugs, and other relevant auxiliary information. Lawrence A. Trissel is director of the Clinical Pharmaceutics Research Program at the U. of Texas.
