A bit dated in some respects, but overall a good read which clearly lays out design principles with specific examples and materials. Being from the southwestern US, it was also evident the author mostly worked in a different climate (northeast). Her own preferences are spelled out, but she fairly lists alternate ways of doing things for a well rounded approach. Quick read that is not exhaustive but is a good resource.
