DNF.
I started this book but just couldn't finish it.
The first story was not bad.
The second I could not connect to the female lead.
The third book Bear's Second Chance is a paranormal romance with shifters, magic, danger, action, adventure, fate, revenge, banter, humour, and more.
This has all the ingredients that I normally love to find in a paranormal romance there are things that just didn't connect with me. I just didn't like the FC, she frustrated me. The premise is good but it didn't wow me.
I DNF and didn't read the last book as I lost all interest.

This is a great way to keep this set together or introduce yourself to Brittany's work if you haven't read it before As I am a firm favourite reader of hers I have read these books when they where released separately so here are my individual reviews
BEAR NEXT DOOR
This is the first book set in the world of the SPA (Shifter Protection Agency) n a agency that not only protects shifters from hunters but also helps to keep their secret. Like all Brittany's books it flows well has characters that draw you in and manages to keep you engaged until you turn the last page. Years earlier when she was a child Laura saw something that she couldn't explain she saw a man turn into a bear now she is older and working as a scientist and she is intent on proving what she saw. She has headed to a small Connecticut town called Mystic. Straight away the SPA is watching her and the task town doctor and bear shifter Sam Miller with keeping a eye on her That isn't that hard for him to do not only is he her neighbour but his bear has declared she is his mate. She doesn't want to be distracted from her search he is lying to her every single day and danger is closing in on her can he keep her safe and how will she react when his secret comes out You will have to read to see
BEAR'S SECRET BABY
This series is just a sheer fun read so well, written that you connect with the characters and they become friends While i didn't like Victoria at first she soon grew on me. Victoria (Tori) Griswold isn't happy when he father sends her to Mystic this socialite is used to the bright city lights and is totally bored in the little town That is until she is allocated a bodyguard from the Shifter Protection Agency. William Vance is totally Tori's type and while he may be gruff and stand offish she is determined to crack him As they spend more time together the attraction between them grows and they give in to one night together. Now Tori has a secret from that night a secret she has decided to keep to herself as she doesn't want to make William feel pressured. However when danger follows her from the city she will have to rely on William to keep her and his future child safe How will he react to her secret Can they have a future together You will have to read to see
BEAR'S SECOND CHANCE
This is the third book in this fun series all set in the world of the SPA (Shifter Protection Agency) a agency that is used to protect all shifters but to also keep them secret from those who would harm them. Axle Hanson is one of their agents and he is haunted by one particular case a cougar shifter Anika Desai who he couldn't save. Axle and the SPA searched high an low to try to find Anika but had to eventually call of the search because they could find no trace of her but now she has put up a video that could out all shifters as she tries to find out who killed her parents She had lost her memory and had no idea why no one has searched for her. Axle is sent once again and when he discovers it is Anika he will have to face the fact that maybe this cougar is more than a case she is his mate Can they have a future together this time You will have to read to see
BEAR'S FOREVER LOVE
This is the fourth book set in the world of The Shifter Protection Agency and like all the others it is a fun read that has elements of suspense that keep you engaged as you quickly turn the pages. This is Evan and Stella's story. Evan is a bear shifter and a member of PSA he will protect any mystic being but he is super protective of Stella because he knows what she is to him even if he doesn't act on it When he is nearly killed in the line of duty he decides he will no longer hold back he intends to claim Stella as his own This witch has her own trust problems the last man she loved walked away when he discovered who and what she is When they are sent together to New Orleans on an investigation Evans wild ways put them in danger Can they survive and can they have a future together You will have to read to see

The Bear Next Door: I loved Sam and Laura’s story!! Laura just knew shifters existed but proving it to her skeptical professors and classmates drove her to move to Mystic. There she meets Sam and it is over from there. Sam is tasked with keeping an eye on Laura so the SPA moves him in next door to her. Laura’s investigating is getting too close to proving that shifters really exist and that is frowned upon by the SPA. As Sam and Laura get closer a certain witch doesn’t take to kindly to it and puts a wedge between them. Will they be able to stop the shifters and Warlock tearing up the town?

Bear’s Secret Baby: I loved William and Tori’s story!! She is a billionaire spoiled princess that her daddy indulges every whim she has except for when it comes to to her safety. So she is sent from the big city to the little town of Mystic, Connecticut. William is tasked to babysit, I mean protect Tori from the man who is hunting her father. He didn’t know just how beautiful she was until they meet in person, but William keeps telling himself that she is vulnerable and he has to keep their relationship professional. William doesn’t think he can complete anyway with Tori’s life because he was orphaned as a teenager then David the head of the SPA took him under his wing. Will they catch whoever is stalking Tori’s father before the violence escalates? Will William be able to protect Tori while keeping her at arms length?

Bear’s Second Chance: These stories just keep getting better and better! I was really looking forward to Axel ’s story and it didn’t disappoint. He searched high and low for the cougar shifter that was part of the SPA after they were ambushed, but he couldn’t find her and everyone at the SPA assumed she was dead. But not Axel he never gave up and low and behold five years later she is making a video exposing the whole shifter community. Anika wants to get revenge on the humans that killed her parents making her an orphan at a young age and leading to her being involved in the SPA. That gives Axel the break he’s been looking for and shows up to protect Anika but she is not interested in being protected. She has a whole community surrounding her of different paranormals that she has grown close to these past five years since making her break with the SPA. Will they get their HEA with everything that’s going on with Anika or will she push Axle away when she really needs him?

Bear’s Forever Love: This is a fantastic story with suspense, intrigue, drama and finally love. Even and Stella have been dancing around each other for years and they both have feelings for each other but they won’t act on them. That is until Even has had enough and feels life is too short to not go after what he wants, and what he wants is Stella. After they go on a rocking date they both get assigned to find out what is going on in New Orleans with the paranormal community. What they find is unbelievable- an evil voodoo practitioner has control of the shifters and even a dragon. Will they be able to work together and stop him? Will their relationship get in the way of them solving the mystery?

Bear shifter Sam Miller works for the Sifter Protection Agency in Mystic, Connecticut and is asked by the Alpha to moved next to a female who has recently arrived in town and is showing interest in shifters and the recent deaths. Laura Ward had moved to Mystic to look into the recent spate of deaths and the stories of shifter that were rife in the area. At the bar on her first evening in town she notices a sexy hunk across the room but soon he leaves then she is surprised to see him move in next door.
Book 2-Bear’s Secret Baby
William was surprised when David told him his new job would be guarding Victoria the daughter of businessman and bear shifter Charles Griswold. Victoria is shocked when her father tells her she will be going to to Mystic to be protected by the SPA and after much arguing she packs her bags. The members of the SPA are waiting as the limousine pulls up and are amazed when four huge suitcase are removed from the trunk then Tori herself gets out. She looks around at the town then turns to see all the gorgeous male bear shifters, She is told that she and William will be sharing a house on the other side of town.
Book 3-Bear’s Second Chance
When shown Bear shifter Axel an internet video he is shocked as it means that Cougar shifter Anika did not die five years ago as they thought. When they finds where the video had been uploaded Axel sets off to finds the woman he has loved since he first met her when she was only fourteen. Arriving in Union he starts looking and when he does finds she hates the people who left her for dead. He finds she is living in the local National Forest with a group of various paranormal who live in a combination of RV's and tents. Now he must earn her trust to get close to her again.
Book 4-Bear’s Forever Love
Even Michaels is a bear shifter and best friend Stella Greenwood both work for the Shifter Protection Agency (SPA) are sent on a mission to investigate rumors of strange happenings in New Orleans and of a dragon causing fires and explosions. Even worries about keeping his feelings for Stella under control while working so close together. Once in New Orleans they meet Mama Marie an elderly voodoo practitioner who they finds is helpful when magic is involved but when the find what they are seeking they realize the danger is greater than they thought.

The story holds the reader's interest from the beginning there is so many things that happened in this story And yet each person manages to keep moving forward and finding love and family. The author Created a believable story about shift shape as and makes you wonder if they are really there in the world today Nothing with surprise me anymore the way the world is going but it is definitely easier read and each brother has very outstanding qualities that make them unique. If you like stories that are a little fantasy but if you look further there's a great message behind it this is the book for you

Loved it. But I would have liked to know about David, what's his story, why did he adopt Sam, William, Axel, and Even. Beautiful writing, no complaints. There are a few misspelled words but no biggie. Loved all the characters, first loves, second chances, new loves, and friendship evolving to the next level.

Interestingly Romantic

A complete (so far), collection of stories about four shifters and their mates. I found it nicely told with some interesting takes about the group and their interactions. There were included back stories to show how the characters came to be and how they grew to become who they were. I enjoyed the telling and how they meshed together.

lots of action

Who doesn’t love shapeshifters-a young wizard ch and her boyfriend are on a case- they find shapeshifters being held by a”wizard” and they try to free them.
