Briony, Natalie and Lauren have been best friends since school. Now in their thirties, their lives couldn’t be more different.

Luckily, a date with Mani, the hot, chivalrous son of her larger-than-life American boss helps to take her mind off things. Could he be the special someone she has been waiting for all her life?

As the girls embark on some of the most challenging moments of their lives, only one thing is for sure – their friendship will never be the same again .

I got this eARC from Netgalley in exhange for a honest review
Big nope for me. I was bored, there was really no plot there... it just went on and on. Plus Lauren didn`t get much time, i would like if they got equeally time in the book. I found Briony to be boring and Natalie`s acting that she was the victim when she cheated ugh.

This is the first book I have read by this author and it certainly won't be my last !

In this book we have three friends, Briony , Natalie and Lauren , they have been friends since school and even though their lives are now very different they are still close friends . In the book we journey with them through some tough challenges which will change their friendship for good !

This book is a great , light hearted read , with characters that you can identify with at certain times, it has a nice flow throughout and is very easy to read . I like the moral of the story being sometimes having everything you want isn't always the best , and how just the simple things in life can make you happier. A good book for fans of chick lit types.

This is a story of friendship, and what can go wrong when one goes against the other's values.
It does focus more on Natalies' story, and her two best friends Lauren and briony struggles to understand her decisions.
I interpreted the title as saying how 'having it all' is not always the best result. Sometimes, the basics of life such as love and security is all you need to truly be happy.
I liked Briony as a character and would have liked to read on to see where her story goes.
There is more to this story than first impressions, I would have liked a more in depth understanding of Natalies thoughts and reasonings.
Easy to read but was sometimes lost in the direction it was taking me.

Great debut book. I really enjoyed “Two Scoops, Not Three”. The characters were very likeable but I think there were a few too many references to movie quotes which padded the story somewhat. On the whole, very well written and put together.

If I could un-read this book, I would.

This book is incredibly poorly written, primarily due to lack of character development. Every single character is 2-dimensional and dressed in nothing but superficial stereotypes.

The reader deserves to know that this is an F/F love story. The characters deserved to have this INTEGRAL aspect of the book developed with care and attention. The author failed to do this, and as a result wrote a book with an incomplete, superficial resolution. The essential component of quality Women's Fiction—the emotional journey—was not successfully executed for Bri, Lauren, or even Natalie.

Natalie is a cliche cheater who has ZERO remorse, and a cuckold husband who cries nearly more than any other character in the book. The manner in which he's totally accepting of her infidelity is pathetic - a failure of the author because in this case, we should have at least felt some empathy for his situation.

Also, why does any reader need to know the intricate details of the lover’s sweaty, yet neatly-trimmed armpit hair? Nowhere on earth does this help Jason progress the story. We get that he's an empty vessel Adonis without this additional info. Just. Ugh.

Lauren’s character arc is hardly touched, just a cliche vibrant, beautiful & talented woman who happens to be a lesbian with two besties. Does she have real feelings? Aspirations in life beyond baking an anatomically-correct vagina sponge cake to distribute to patrons at a pub? (What an oddly graphic scene.) The reader should have a chance to learn more about Lauren beyond her admiration for the female body, as was expressed numerous times throughout the novel.

There is no resolution to Natalie’s situation (aside from a loss she clearly found to be convenient).
Bri is an idiot who literally can't figure out how to walk and hold coffee at the same time, but her curly blonde ringlets and petite frame will save her and connect her with the boss's handsome “American” son. (The American is flat and inaccurately portrayed in speech and idiomatic expressions. I’d like to think this is the author’s revenge for terrible American portrayals of British MC’s in many books, but I doubt it was intentional.)

The first 5 pages of the novel already indicate which love interest will prevail, and yet that story arc is presented under the guise of friendship. Terribly cliche, and poorly executed.

Honestly, it seems as though the author want to write a novel with an F/F relationship, but was too afraid to commit to it completely. As a result, the real story—the one the author clearly wanted to tell but somehow didn't—remains untold.

Due to a commitment, I couldn't DNF this book. But boy, I surely would have if I could've. 1/5 stars.

Two Scoops, not Three follows a group of friends as they are navigating life. Briony, Natalie and Lauren are the friends. Where Briony thinks she is unlucky with men, Natalie is cheating on her husband after feeling neglected by him and Lauren thinks she has feelings for her best friend. This story is about friendship and discovery of their own lives. This isn't romance story as it suggests. The dynamic was strong and great and felt like real life between the friends.

‘Two Scoops Not Three’ is about three best friends Briony, who is unlucky when it comes to finding a man, Natalie, a housewife with two children who is cheating on her husband, and Lauren, a cruise entertainer.

I honestly don’t know how I feel about this book. I was so bored throughout most of it as there was no real plot. I wanted this book to be about the friendship between Briony, Natalie and Lauren but throughout almost 90% of the book the three characters did not interact with each other. The main focus of this book is on Briony and Natalie, as Briony is trying to find herself a boyfriend, whereas Natalie is trying to deal with the consequences of her affair. I would have probably liked this book a lot more if it had included more of Lauren as she seemed like the most interesting character of the three and yet she was barely in the book and felt more like a side character than one of the main characters.

Natalie was the worst character I have probably ever read in a book. She was unbelievably selfish and treated her husband awfully by cheating on him and acting like it was his fault that she cheated because he was at work most of the time. It felt like she did not care about anyone but herself and she was written as if the author wanted the reader to feel sorry for Natalie when Natalie was actually just a terrible human for cheating on her husband and not caring about his feelings until she got caught.

One of the main reasons I disliked this book was because of the inclusion of the Manchester bombing in the book. Including this event in the book had no relevance at all to the story beforehand and then it was used as a plot point to drive Natalie to breaking up with the man she was having an affair with. As someone who was there at the Manchester bombing and was affected by those events, I thought that this was insensitive and triggering.

Overall, this book was just bad. I very rarely rate books one or two stars as I always find something I liked within it, but this one just annoyed me. The cover is really cute though and was the main reason why I wanted to pick this book up.

Two Scoops, Not Three follows three best friends, Briony, Lauren, and Natalie. They are in their early 30s and each one of them has their own issues.
Briony is the hardworking one, working at an accounting firm and trying to find Mr. Right. Lauren is a cruise singer and goes away for days on end on ships. She is gay and is looking for Ms. Right. Natalie is happily married to her childhood sweetheart and has two lovely children. However, she is not as happy as she appears to her friends.

Things come to a head when Natalie, sex-starved and feeling neglected, starts a torrid affair with her physical trainer. She swallows her conscience and tries to balance her family and affair. But she gets pregnant. And that's where her problems start.

Briony seems to have found her Mr. Perfect in her boss's son. But is he what he seems?

Lauren, to her dismay, starts feeling something like love towards Briony. Is it love or just protectiveness?

The premise is really good and the story is quick paced.

There were a few issues I had. Natalie has an affair. However, the story goes as if the reader should sympathize with her. The husband, in fact,is shown to be contrite for working too hard and not giving his wife enough time. Do we need to support cheating now?
Overall, I didn't like Natalie as a character. She is too selfish for her own good. Even her guilty phases last for frustratingly little periods. She doesn't even think about her children during adultery given that they are her "center of the universe".

Briony's character development is good up to a point then stops. After that, she seems boring as well.

Ironically, I loved Lauren's character best. But she seemed just like a side character than a main one. I hope there is a sequel that follows Lauren more.

For a debut, though, this is a great attempt. I will definitely look forward to reading more from Terri Boas.

Thanks to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for giving me this ARC.

Two Scoops, Not Three follows three best friends named Briony, Lauren and Natalie in their early thirties as they experience their different issues. Natalie is dealing with the consequences of her torrid affair, Briony has the eyes for her boss' son, and Lauren seems to be developing feelings for her best friend Briony.

The premise of the story promises drama and conflict, and the availability of a LGBTQIA+ representation in this novel is something that immediately drew me to it. Lauren was an interesting character and I would have loved a greater level of interaction with her character and her experience throughout the novel because she seemed to be the more interesting of the three women!

Additionally, the representation of women as the unfaithful lover was a breath of fresh air written by Boas! Natalie is certainly an unreliable narrator in her own experience, and her experience with the affair definitely takes a very 'woe is me' standpoint. I would have loved to see some more moral quandry here - is Natalie really feeling guilty about her affair? Or is it just expected of her? Her guilt and thought for her family seem very surface level, and whilst I appreciated the fast-paced process to the novel, this was something that absolutely could have been explored in more detail to help a reader better understand Natalie's characterisation. She seemed a bit wish-washy to me, and she was portrayed as a victim as opposed to a cheating partner. In the context of sex, I imagine if it were the husband who had cheated, this would not be the case!

This book had an incredibly promising start - I love the prospect of intertwining storylines and the immediacy of introducing us to these twisting lives of these three women. Alas, the story of their friendship and the expected 'girl power' themes really were lost in this novel, which is so unfortunate as it had so much potential.

Two Scoops, Not Three by Terri Boas

Rating: 3/5

Two Scoops, Not Three by Terri Boas is a story of three best friends- Briony, Natalie, and Lauren. Briony is in search of her perfect man. Lauren is enjoying her life as a singer in on-board cruise ships and is too busy to find her Mrs. Perfect. Natalie is already married and blessed with two beautiful children. All their lives take a toll when Natalie gets involved with her spin instructor in gym, Briony finds herself attracted to her Boss’s son and Lauren realizes that she has developed a feeling for a very special someone.

Terri Boas in her book has tried to work on many things simultaneously. The book has more than one angle in it. Her writing style is engaging enough to keep the readers hooked to the story. However, a book that started with potentialities could not live up to my expectations. The second half of the story became dull and monotonous. Except for Lauren, I did not find any other character to be strong enough to like. Ironically, Lauren was the one who was neglected most in the story.

I have a strong objection to the way cheating is portrayed in the book. It seemed as if the cheater was being shown in the light of being the victim. No matter what the situation is, cheating can never be justified. In the story, many times the reason for cheating is tried to explain and that made it worse. Briony’s character was someone I found to be likable initially but as the story progressed her growth as a character was not at all appreciated.

There were references to many shows and movies in the book. I found that to be very entertaining and relatable. I like the character of Lauren. I wish she had more importance because she was witty, smart, and courageous.

Overall, if you want to read something entertaining, you can go for this one.

"Girls kiss better, in fact girls do everything better."
First things first -
What a pretty cover and an inviting ice cream cone to go on it! I was instantly drawn to it.
Two scoops, not three is a story of three long term best friends Briony, Natalie and Laurel..

Briony is a dorky, klutz ,damsel in distress who has recently had a breakup. She gets entangled in a steamy , "cant keep my hands to myself "situation with her boss's son who is not as much of a gentleman as he seems. She is smitten by him and starts imagining scenarios of them being together right from the time she sees him.

Natalie, a 34 year old woman, mother of two is married to Martin (who was head over heels in love with her). She is going through a mid life crisis with an always busy and snowed under work husband and stay at home mum, looking for some excitement and fun. She soon starts a sultry affair with her PT, Jason. It was as if she was under his spell, sex with Jason was her crime, her addiction which she didn't feel any ounce of remorse/guilt.

Lauren, is a singer on the cruise, a pretty lesbian who stays with her best friend Briony.
The story is mainly about Briony and Natalie, and for some reason Lauren seems like a side kick with not much content about her.

Do give this a read if:
- You are looking for an easy, on the go book.
- If you like reading about female friendships and sexy quickie anecdotes on the side.
- If you are a fan of Books giving movie and song references from the noughties.

The book started off fine but in the middle it got verbose and I had to skim through the pages. I did not like the ending and it seemed utterly incoherent and absurd, which accounts for my 2.5/5 star rating.

Thank you NetGalley and Terri Boas for proving me with an ARC of this book.

Two Scoops, Not Three is the story of 3 friends. Briony, Natalie and Lauren. Very different women that have been friends since school.
Briony has an office job and is looking for Mr Right
Lauren is a cruise ship singer looking for Mrs Right
Natalie is married to her childhood sweetheart and has children.
As a debut novel this was a nice easy read.
The book is constantly making references to movies and TV shows - don’t get me wrong I love a movie quote but it was constant.
The drink Cosmopolitan cocktails because of Sex and the City
“Profane or really offensive” from Pretty Woman
“It’s not that common, it does t happen to every guy and it is a big deal” from Friends
There are also countless other references to This Morning, MTV’s The Hills, Christina Aguilera, Gone with the Wind, Back to the Future........which for me got annoying.
The ending felt a bit strange too. My kindle told me I only had 15 minutes left in the book which surprised me as I felt like there were a lot of loose ends. The relationship of 2 of the main characters at the end of the book didn’t make sense to me either - when you read the book you will know what I mean.
Would all of this stop me reading another book by a Terri Boas? No it wouldn’t. I do however hope there is a sequel to this book and we get to find out more about Briony, Lauren and Natalie.

Thank you to the Author, Publisher and NetGalley for gifting me this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

No, just no. There are so many things about this book that I didn’t like. And I honestly can’t think of one thing that I did like.

This is the story of three lifelong friends - Briony, Lauren & Natalie. Briony is coming off a bad relationship where she discovered her boyfriend was really married. She jumps into another relationship with her boss’ son, Mani.

Lauren is a singer for a cruise line and travels frequently. She is gay, but does not have a steady love interest.

Natalie is married with two children, but she continues to have an affair with her personal trainer. After her husband and one of her kids finds out, she intends to break it off with her trainer, but as soon as she sees him again, she can’t - she is just infatuated with the guy. Natalie’s husband doesn’t even get angry - he assumes the affair is his fault because he works so much. I definitely don’t like the way this affair is treated - there seems to be zero remorse all around. These people have no scruples.

Not only are the characters totally unlikeable, it seems there are exactly 5,735 references to 90s / 2000s movies, music videos, etc. what is the obsession of quoting movies or songs? It really was so frequent that it became very annoying.

This book just didn’t do it for me. And at the end, I was glad none of these people were my friends in real life.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. The opinions stated above are mine without biases.

Two Scoops, not Three follows a group of friends as they are navigating life. It follows Briony, who feels like she has the worst luck with guys. Then she meets the charming and polite American son of her boss. Natalie, the married mother of two, has felt like she has been neglected by her husband, so she starts s tryst with her sexy, personal trainer. Lastly, Lauren, who returns home from her job on a cruise ship, to find that she may have feelings for her best friend.

I thought this story was really cute. It says it is a romance, but I would definitely say it leans more towards Womens Fiction, or Chick Lit, as it is more about their friendship and each one trying to figure out their lives and the turns they have taken. I really loved the friendship between the girls. I felt like the dynamic was real. They didn't sugar coat things for one another, and I appreciated that. There were times where I felt like Bri, and times that I wanted to knock some sense into Natalie. One negative thing for me was, I wish we could have seen more of Lauren's point of view. The story focused mostly on Bri and Natalie that Lauren's thoughts felt like they were merely passing glimpses of her.

All in all, i thought this was a really cute story of friendship. As a debut, the author did a wonderful job. I would definitely be willing to read other books from her, especially if it is a continuation of Bri's, Lauren's and Natalie's story.

Briony, Lauren and Natalie have been best friends since school. Briony works in the finance sector and is single after discovering her boyfriend was married. Lauren is a talented singer working on cruise ships. Natalie is a housewife and a mother of two. Natalie married young and appears to be bored with her life. When her husband suggests she join the gym to get her out of the house more, she meets spin instructor Jason and starts to have an affair with him. Lauren’s life is hectic but is she getting tired and ready to settle down. When Natalie meets her boss’ son the very dreamy Mani who takes an interest in her, is he too good to be true? When Natalie finds out about Briony’s affair how will this affect their friendship?

I can only describe this as an easy read. I loved the 90s references which definitely bought back a sense of nostalgia. Briony, Natalie and Lauren’s friendship is everything and they are more like sisters. However, the story perfectly portrays what happens when they start keeping secrets from each other and what happens when those secrets are revealed. It definitely puts a strain on their friendship. At the same time although they are close friends sometimes they don’t want to hear the truth or their friend’s perspective especially in Briony’s case when straight talking Natalie discovers the affair. But when they are honest with each other the secrets have a less fiery effect and being honest paves the way for a new level to their friendship and relationships with others. I was glad when things worked out in the end.

A story about friendship, honesty and relationships.

Thank you to NetGalley for the free copy of this book.

This book was fine. I didn't dislike it, I didn't love it, it happened. The story would have benefitted from being two separate books that occurred in the same universe, one from each woman's viewpoint. I enjoy stories told from multiple viewpoints but they need to share the plot more or have more intersection. There was minimal interaction aside from the brief cross over that seemed to exist just to remind us that the characters were friends.

The inclusion of the tragedy at the Ariana Grande concert felt unnecessary to the plot and took me out of the story. It only served to give Natalie half a reason to end things with Jason. Jason's sudden penchant for force would have been plenty on its own. The incident in the real world was tragic, including it was inappropriate (and potentially triggering) in this story. If anything it should have been a fictional artist.

All in all the story was interesting enough to see where it went. At times it reminded me of a sitcom, jumping between stories to come together at the end for summaries of everyone's day.

Having a look at the existing reviews on NetGalley I have noticed I am certainly in the minority about my feelings to this book I had to DNF at about halfway. I tried to like it I really did there were parts that I found really gripping but there were parts that I just couldn't get past. Natalie is a selfish housewife, simple as that. She says she does everything for kids but as she is having an affair they are noticeably absent from her thoughts. But Briony she was a character that I just couldn't get past. She compares her boss and his son Mani sexually harassing her at her job when her boss does it it is creepy but when Mani does it it is flirty? I just don't get it. If I man I had met for maybe half an hour zipped up the back of my dress without asking I would not think it was hot I would be going to HR. I can see that there are a number of people that gave this book incredibly positive reviews and I am sure there are some people that would love this. Terri Boas is a talented author but the characters in this one weren't quite right for me.

Boas explores bond of friendship, marriage, infidelity, and ramifications of one’s actions in her entertaining debut.

Briony, Lauren, and Natalie—all in their 30s—are old friends since school. Briony who is trying to find her Mr. Right is painfully conscientious but seems to have bad luck with guys. Lauren, a cruise singer, is gay and looking for her Ms. Right. Natalie, a married mother of two, is ensconced in a picture-perfect marriage to her high school sweetheart. She’s feeling entrapped in a stale marriage. Her tryst with her sexy, personal trainer has surprising consequences for her, Briony, and Lauren’s friendship.

Boas beautifully captures the tension and excitement of Natalie’s attraction to Jason, how she justifies her adultery and treatment of people around her. The intriguing premise, smooth pacing, and emotionally fraught setup make sure the reader stays invested throughout.

Fully-realized characters and richly defined stakes lift the plot further.

This entertaining, lighthearted outing is a treat for lovers of women’s fiction who love fractured friendship dramas.

If you went through my reviews of previous books, it's quite clear that I am not the target audience for this book. African history, motor racing and travels around Paraguay are more my thing but I happened to come across this as a friend at work mentioned how much she enjoyed it.

Well, I thoroughly enjoyed it as well. I was interested through-out and I cared about the not just the central characters, which is always key to a good book, but many of the supporting cast. A a man reading women's fiction, it was thought provoking and revealing to me about women and relationships.

The twist at the end I did actually predict earlier on, but what I didn't predict were the other twists which materialised throughout the book.

Thoroughly enjoyable, throughly readable.

Excellent job by a debut author who can consider this as a job well done.

Definitely would recommend as a good book to read for a summer holiday.

It also proved a nice break from the normal books I read, nice to have something different. Next up, 1800's Yugoslavia. Interesting, but nowhere as fun to read!

Two Scoops, Not Three - Terri Boas

I received an advance review copy for free thanks to Rachel's Random Resources and I am leaving this review voluntarily

Briony, Natalie and Lauren have been best friends since school. Now in their thirties, their lives couldn’t be more different.

Eternally single Briony is desperate to find ‘the one’, while Lauren, a singer onboard cruise ships, is having far too much carefree fun to even think about settling down with ‘Mrs Right’. Or is she?

Meanwhile, long-term married mum Natalie has had her head turned at the gym by sexy spin instructor, Jason. And when he suggests some private, one-on-one sessions, sex-starved Natalie is powerless to resist.

I flew through this book and read the majority of this during my lunch break. It is a quick and enjoyable read, a good debut novel. This book has had some very mixed reviews, but I thought that it was a nice, light-hearted easy read.

I would have liked to have seen some points expanded a little more but I would still recommend this book for a light read. Perfect as a holiday read.

Two Scoops, Not Three by Terri Boas

This is story of friends navigating through their life. Sorry to say this but it didn't work for me. It was more of Briony and Natalie and no story for Lauren other than the tiny bit at end. This wasn't about their friendship, it was about Briony trying to find for a boyfriend, Natalie facing the consequences of her affair and Lauren gay singer saving her friend from mess.

Natalie is god irritating and selfish, too much. I didn't like her one bit. She is cheating her husband and doesn't care about family and everyone else. She didn't realise anything unless she was the one who was getting hurt. I did not like her at all.
Briony can't see the right from wrong with respect to her boss's son Mani. He is really nonsense. I didn't like any characters of the book.

It didn't have a plot or character development or any story though it was to easy to read. It says romance but isn't, I would classify in women's fiction. A big miss for me.

Terri, thank you so much for sending me such a gorgeous copy of your book! Thank you for the little chocolate ice creams and for signing it! :) Sometimes, its the little small details that just make it so special.

What. A. Read.

I was hooked on this. I thought it was very inviting from the title, the bright pink cover with ice cream… Who wouldn’t love it? The synopsis intrigued me, I kept thinking would I like it?

Well, it did take me a wee while to get into the book and to fully understand who was speaking and when but when I got into it, I was on a role and finished it in 2 sittings!

I enjoyed the character development and how each of the women story were vastly different to the other - it made the book so much more interesting, their lives were so different yet they were all friends and wanted to be there for each other.

Thank you to @rachelsrandomresources for arranging this tour and to @terriboas1 for sending me a copy of your book and signing!

Looking for a delicious story about friendships and the ups and downs of life??? Look no further. This book is certainly not Vanilla, giving laughs aplenty with three 30 something friends who are just making their way through life one bad relationship at a time. Briony, Natalie and Lauren are three friends trying to navigate the world of romantic relationships. Briony is in search of that perfect man, Lauren in search of that perfect woman, while Natalie searches for the perfect marriage she once had. In Two Scoops, Not Three, Teri Boas explores how relationships change and sometimes what you are searching for is right there beneath the fear of it all.

I enjoyed the humorous scenes with Briony but felt her ending was rushed and underdeveloped. Natalie appeared more as a self-centered suburban wife who felt neglected and so figured an affair was the answer. Lauren had the potential to be an amazing character but it felt more like the story was about Briony and Natalie’s respective journeys. Thus the title feels appropriate: Two Scoops, Not Three

Overall not bad but I would not read it again.

Review-Two Scoops Not Three
🍨
Thank you @netgalley for the digital review copy.

Gosh! What a train wreck of a novel this was. The author just dumps information on you haphazardly, one on top of the other. The characters were morally flawed and plain irritating. The story revolves around 3 friends,Briony,Lauren,Natalie. Briony is a dumb blonde,Natalie a bored housewife, and Lauren is a gay singer. Ironically, the most interesting character,Lauren, was given the least importance.
🍨
Other than the fact the book is plain boring, its also problematic. First, there's this blatant fat shaming of this man who is showed to be a hardworking, successful man, with his "enormous shape being his only flaw as his symbol of laziness". Also, this book justifies cheating. ALSO,the Ariana Grande concert incident is included in this book just as a minor plot point, with a tone-deaf disregard for its importance and its grief.
🍨
All in all,I'd advice you to not go for this one.

Whilst Lauren is my favourite character, I took an immediate shining to Briony. Especially because the first chapter was funny. But Lauren was still my firm favourite as she's so much like me (and it's such a shame she wasn't in this book more)! Most of all though I loved Lauren and Briony's relationship 😍 And HATED Natalie and Martin's. Although I didn't like Natalie at first, I did warm to her at the end.

The only part that I struggled with was when you would switch to someone else's thoughts in the middle of a paragraph and have to stop and work out whose head you were now inside. It was slightly confusing.

Such a beautiful cover and the perfect book to start on a perfect sunny spring day. And I adore how the title ties in with the book. There was also a tiny bit of spice 🔥, LGBTQIA+ rep, and that ending had me SWOONING ❤

I really enjoyed the first half this but I did find my attention swayed a bit towards the end. I felt that this book could be amazing but certain things just didn't work as well as they should have for me.

I think the way Natalie's husband reacted wasn't realistic and it just played it down to what she had done. And I couldn't get myself to like her character either 🤦

Now, Briony and Lauren, I loved their friendship from the beginning. They just seemed so at ease with each other, true best friends.

Now this book touched on some important topics such as infidelity (won't say any other as they are spoilers) but I just feel like they weren't explored as well as could have been.

Saying that, I really enjoyed Terri's writing and I found the book really easy to read.

We often forget the power and meaning of relationships and friendships that we have. This book tells the story of three long term friends in very different places in their lives. Natalie, a married woman with two young kids who feels alone after her youngest child starts school, and turns to a hot personal trainer. A hard working girl Briony coming out of a bad relationship and falls for another man whom wishes to play the field. Then there is Lauren whom works performing on a cruise ship and lives with her best friend and develops feelings for her. All three see that without the friendship and love that they have for one another how different and truly sad they would be.

Light Hearted, Easy Read, with an Element of Reality.. 💝 Great Debut Novel

Three friends, Lauren, Briony and Natalie. The book is told mainly from Natalie and Briony's perspective. The three ladies have been good friends for many years.
Natalie is married to Martin with two children and having an affair with her PT, much to her friends distaste. Initially feeling that the grass is greener, maybe that's not the case... Briony finds love in an unexpected place...

Two Scoops Not Three is a great debut novel, light hearted easy read with an element of reality. Look forward to reading more from this author 👍
