This book is different... a good way different. To be very honest, I was doubtful about the beginning but @PersephoneAutumn wrote this story in such a manner that I went "woww."
The sexual chemistry is top notch and is fire. The characters have flaws and have their intentions prioritised from the start which afterwards change. You'll probably be thinking why should I read this when you're 25% in because the mystery is almost out and predicted but honestly, do continue.
The flirting, the "fuck me" eyes, the innocent yet purposeful teasing and turmoil along with the raw emotions; all connect with each other to make this a great read.
**Sexual Assault Trigger Warning**
The end was definitely something totally unpredictable, I didn't see it coming at all but it gave the relationship a shape which was required.
Max was on my shit list. You'll find him to be cocky, somewhat arrogant and over confident and the leader of fuck boys gang. But he knew his behaviour and was honest with himself too. Ofcourse, he was a good guy, did feel guilt, did reassess his attitude and did come out as Max 2.0.
Tami is sweet, a good citizen, practices as a nurse in dental hygiene, lays emphasis on her health and leads a montonous life (maybe?) but some of her past actions makes her vary of building a bond.
Candy is a mysterious firecracker who knows how to use her body in her advantage.
I really liked this story. Again, this is a bit different and even though it is categorised in romance, you won't feel the lovey dovey stuff until the very end but instead will feel the heat. Some scenes will make you stop and think whether what was done is wrong or right.

This was my first read of 2021, and it was a good one! What I loved about this book was the evolution of Max and Tami as a couple and as individuals.
I'll be honest: Max wasn't my favorite at first. He was cocky and arrogant, a true playboy. But as his connection with Tami starts to change, he starts to change. You get to see a completely different side of him that had me absolutely swooning by the time the book was over. I loved the man he became as he realized what - and who - were important to him.
Tami was a pretty dynamic character from the very beginning. She's pretty unassuming at first, but as you get further into the book, you really get to see the kind of woman she is (which is a good thing). She overcomes A LOT throughout this story, more than I was anticipating, but that just made me love her character even more.
It's obvious from the jump that the chemistry between Max and Tami is insane - but just when you think that's all they have is chemistry that only sparks in between the sheets and nowhere else, you get to see their chemistry shift. There are some trigger points throughout the book, so be prepared for that - but I did enjoy this story, especially as it progressed. Another great read from the author! I'd honestly give it 4.5 stars if Goodreads allowed the half-star ratings.

This new story by Ms. Autumn is going to keep you intrigued until the very end!
This is the story of Max and Tami. An instant attraction and a double life revealed.
I really admired Tami, she is unapologetic about her life and what she does is what she loves. She is very good at what she does and it fulfills her. She has had a rocky relationship past, which is unfortunate but a very realistic probability. So she is very leery of her feelings for Max. She has a lot to lose.
Max is the quintessential bachelor. He is not into relationships, can be a bit of a douche at times. When he first meets Tami, he doesn't know how to explain the new feelings that run through him and he goes about working through them sometimes the wrong way.
There is such fiery chemistry between these two (or is it three?) that it burns up the pages. I was also surprised and intrigued by the bit of a twist and the thriller aspect and the almost destruction of one of the characters! It kept me invested in this story until the very end!
I really enjoyed this story and you will too!

The multi-layered Title Sweet Tooth should have been the first warning that the romance spun by the talented Persphone Autumn was going to deliver more than expected. I wasn't ready.
In Tami, she introduces us to a super complex, bad-ass, heroine who will steal your heart and your mind. Persephone does an amazing job revealing the multitudes of this well-constructed character. Max, the ultimate bachelor, doesn't stand a chance. The attraction is instant, the chemistry sizzling and their connection undeniable.
The pacing of Sweet Tooth is amazing as the attraction and the secrets clash, exploding together in one of the hottest scenes of 2021.
Not to give away any spoilers but an unforeseen twist changes everything. (Note the novel comes with a trigger warning).

I enjoyed reading this story but I wasn't hooked and desperately needing more like you can be with some stories. I enjoyed the storyline and the characters but it just lacked the wow factor for me. Although this was a good story to read.

This was such a steamy and exciting read! Max’s ego drove me crazy in the beginning. I wanted to take him down a few notches myself. Then there is Tami who is leading a double life and knows exactly what she wants and doesn’t put up with anything from anyone. I enjoyed their banter and how their relationship transformed. There is a trigger warning for this book. I am happy with the ending of the book but wouldn’t mind finding out more and I am secretly hoping Amber can get her own book.

Max and Tami are definitely special! I definitely love how Max changes into a better version of himself but he does it because he wants to do it. Not because she makes him or even wants him too! Tami is interesting she is not your normal woman which makes me like her even more. A fun, fast paced book and will keep you on your toes. I truly enjoy Persephone Autumn's writing, no matter what it is. Everything I've read of hers has been different than most things I've read! Different but amazing!!!

I received an ARC from Persephone Autumn and I’m voluntarily writing this review.
I found the premise interesting but it dragged in a few chapters. I found the heroine well thought out, but the hero was lacking. Overall, an enjoyable read.
