Cartoon President: Team Patriot - Book 1

This book is a collection of story-maps featuring the Cartoon President by Jzikah. I was inspired to publish them on Amazon after one of my early maps was picked up and published by the New York Times. Each map is based on a book, news article or video by the same name, and explores one particular theme or idea. For example, the “Operation Infektion” map describes the history of "fake news" and is based on a video by the same name; this map was published in the New York Times. Other maps include "Dirty Rubles" and "Fire and Fury", both based on books by the same title. "Move Fast and Break Things" is about Big Tech from an article in The Guardian. "Active Measures" is a spy-word, and a documentary by the same title. "Mob Mob Mob" is a map synthesized from Citizen Journalists and Mob Hunters found on Twitter. "Don the Con" and "Economic Anxiety" are economic maps made with the help of a Stanford economist. "Keep Calm" documents the 2018 mid-term elections, while "Long Dark Night" features the happenings around the Winter Solstice. "Treason's Greetings" features Black Santa and is the final map in Book 1. The maps are uplifting and help make sense of a world that makes no sense. They are friendly and inviting and designed to be left out on the coffee table for young people and/or reluctant learners. Not your ordinary cartoon book, but these are extraordinary times.
