(4.5 stars.) Splendid writing. Proof that very direct and efficient writing can also be sharp, witty and delightful. In other words, the jokes and one-liner are fully-functional (as opposed to purely ornamental, as is too often the tendency in comedy today) and almost never fail to advance the action. In particular, the clash of the characters' worldviews is really well treated (until the mechanics of the romantic comedy takes over).
