Own Your Business and Your Market

Get Rich in the Deep End by Brent Weaver presents a unique and powerful perspective in building, managing, and growing a business today.
Additionally, in the light of the recent pandemic and businesses being forced to improvise to stay afloat, the premise of this book becomes more impactful. This impact proves to be a shattering of current business ideas and specifically the acquiring of clientele that owners seem to always struggle within attaining and maintaining.
The premise is a successful strategy that doesn't necessarily equate to get more and more clients, but to "Own Your Market."
By this, the author asserts that "Most businesses target everyone so they end up owning nothing." The key, he maintains, is to be an authority in one aspect of the marketplace. He adds people (customers) want experts.
As an illustration, he states that being a specialist is like diving into the deep end of the pool. Therefore, the "swimmer" is fully immersed in the water with fewer swimmers around and therefore less competition.
The book then proceeds to build on this premise leading the reader to the ultimate destination. That destination is a business that owns a particular segment of the business world as it relates to a business service provided.
Get Rich in the Deep End by Brent Weaver is well written. It begins with an intriguing account of a business owner who was struggling to acquire clients. The book then explains the concepts and takes the business owner on a significant journey of new thinking as well as teaching the concepts.
The narrative is sure to stimulate the mind of the owner as they potentially challenge their business model and head out to the deep end of the pool.

It´s an interesting reading and a useful tool for business life
As the saying goes “nothing ventures, nothing gained”, it does apply to this book. “Get Rich in the Deep End: Commit to your Niche, Own Your Market, and Audaciously Scale your Agency” is addressed to people who like to set up any business. This great and helpful work was written by Brent Weaver and Aaron Wrixon.
Everything is told through Heather Carlyle´s experience, telling the way she adapts her business and the way she boosts it by following certain principles. Of course, the results are not always positive from the very beginning but at least through the process Heather was able to improve them.
The narrative structure of this book is rather simple, and I could understand the procedure to start a business and to maintain it, which is the most difficult part. The bits that I found interesting are the principles provided by the authors because after mentioning them, a detailed explanation is included. By doing so, I could grasp the main idea of them. I believe that it might be a tool for people who are in the commercial field. I thoroughly recommend it.

Get Rich in The Deep End is a great masterpiece written by the Colorado author Brent Weaver and the Canadian author Aaron Wrixton. Brent is the founder and CEO of UGURUS, a business training and education company while Aaron writes for more than 100 different industries across the English-speaking world. This non-fiction book is written for a general audience but really interesting for business owners.
I really appreciate this book since it caught my attention as soon as I opened it. It is a very well-known fact that most people worry about money and finance. The authors included in 242 pages, common sense advice of today’s business that are applicable to everyone.
I simply loved how this book is written; it is entertaining as well as informative, with simple terminologies and very helpful. I am not very good at maths, nor at technical finance stuff and saving, and I could understand it perfectly, so this book is presented in a way in which everyone can interpret it.
I think anyone interested in wealth and finance can get value from this book. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys this kind of reading.

Author Duo Brent Weaver and Aaron Wrixon join up to tell the story of Heather Carlyle, a business owner who is mentored by Mr. Weaver in how she should be approaching her business practices, from marketing to day-to-day operations. One major mistake he helped her overcome, is leaving the lead generation and sales largely u to the customers word-of-mouth. Too many businesses do this and in today’s online interconnected world, that can leave you missing thousands of dollars in lost sales. Through the story of Heather, the authors are able to give real world examples of what to do and what to avoid.
A guidebook that explains target audiences and how to identify yours, as well as how to approach marketing towards each group. By targeting your ideal customer group (market segment), you will be able to bring your business into the spotlight and grow it into a stable and successful venture. The advice is relevant and pertains to todays online driven world. A very good marketing book.

“Get Rich in the Deep End: Commit to Your Niche, Own Your Market, and Audaciously Scale Your Agency” is one of the most useful books I have ever read. Authors Brent Weaver and Aaron Wrixon teach marketing estrategies in a pragmatic way, which are really easy to understand.

One of the best things about this book is that it gives you an example: a women called Heather Carlyle, who saw changes in her own business and in her life by changing the strategies and following Brent’s great pieces of advice. This way she could make her company a success.

This read is divided into fourteen chapters which are easy to read because the authors used common language so it is easy to follow for someone, like me, who has not been in touch with the subject before. In fact, I read it in three days.

By reading this book, I learned about the best practices for strategy, planning, execution, measurement, analysis, and optimization for my business. I highly recommend it.
