“A winner is just a loser who tried one more time.” -George M. Moore Jr.Mark Daniels has made some mistakes. Some would say he spent most of his life a failure. Mark would tell you, they’re not wrong. He was ten when he first got drunk. By seventeen, he’d bought a motorcycle and spent most of his time traveling from job to job and bar to bar across the U.S. He partied, abused every drug available, drank himself useless, and spent each night with a different woman. That was all before he turned twenty. Then things got worse…This is the story of how Mark found himself at the bottom of a deep pit of guilt and despair, more than once, and how he pulled himself back out. A man’s life is full of struggles and bad decisions, and Mark’s has been both gut-wrenching and spiritually challenging. Don’t give up on him. By the end, you’ll discover that in the harshness of life, sometimes all a man has to do is get back up...just one more time.“Failure is only the opportunity to begin again more intelligently.” -Henry Ford
I grew up in a small mid western town called Troy in the 60s, One of the most profound things I remember is the constant fear the the Russians were going to Nuke the world and that included us. They used to show us films of ominous Russians on the over head projector films telling us they were going to take over the U. S. without ever firing a shot. Well, I am still here an no Nukes yet. Thank god. Made it through school at least till my sophomore year then I quit. I did a lot of drinking and partying in my teens. Rode Harley Davidson's around the country and chased girl. Did that until got into some trouble in my early 20's. Then started down the road of amateur and professional boxing. Still drinking and partying some. Got married but was not ready to settle down so I screwed that up at about 29 years old. Hit bottom shorty afterward and quit drinking and starting looking within to discover how and why I messed up my life but better yet how I could improve it. Since 1991 I have read many many books and listened to many speakers as well as having mentors. I now help others on an individual basis and speak as well. I discovered that service to others enriched my life as nothing else ever had. My first book is just another way to share my life experience to others on a wider range.
