Downfall

In this first installation of the series, the Federation is in disarray. The High General, Mathis, is struggling to comply with the Lord Chancellor, who is losing his grip with sanity, corrupting the entire council beneath him. The Lord Chancellor has enacted the Unification Project, in order to unite the inner planets and outer rim planets under one federal territory. However, things are not what they seem when the Unification Project creates further discourse amongst the galaxy. Causing a resistance to rise amongst the outer rim to fight this malicious force and save the outer rim planets. Terrah, a young woman living in the outer rim, finds herself victim to the Project. She wants to help destroy the monstrous Federation, but finds that the lines between good and evil are blurred. In the midst of the turmoil one pilot, Jack Barron, decides he has had enough of the project, but soon discovers it will not be that simple. With Hunter Katherine, a member of the segregated military force comprised of only canine pilots, swift on his tail. His former ally, Allen Johnson, trying to stay loyal to the Federation contemplates the morality of Jack's decision as well as his own place in the Federation. Strange forces are at play that could shape the future of the outer rim, the Federation, and mankind’s very existence.
