I totally enjoyed this book.
Ok I have a soft spot for dinosaurs so the rating reflects this as I totally loved this series. The action was good and the town building was interesting. The world building is coming along nicely and I really look forward to seeing how the characters develop.

Good, but
Needs copy editing/proofreading. Words were either misspelled or used incorrectly. ‘Taught’ vs ‘taut’ - one describes something stretched tight, the other does not. ‘Secede’ vs ‘cede’ - if you are departing a battlefield then use the second one and not the first. There were plenty of simpler mistakes, but few enough to make it tolerable. Using wrong words really bothers me.
The sex/harem stuff is kinda pedestrian. It actually detracts from the story.
I will likely read book 3 when it is released.

I very much enjoyed the first book. This one was an okay continuation. The whole learning from the mistakes of the first experience was good.
Until it ended almost exactly the same as the first book for the MC. It was a huge letdown. I was expecting the improvement here just the same as in the other aspects of this competition. There wasn't. The MC realizes this after this time but he also realized it after the last so.....

Good story got to be a few too many people to remember but that got fixed at the end. Love watching them learn and adapt.

Great book 2 can’t wait for book 3!!!

Fun series
Such a refreshing series to read, I enjoy the art work that is spread out through the book. Ready for book 3.

Another fun entry in the series. I was ready to hate the ending again, but we weren't screwed over by having really exciting happenings be told quickly at the end. Looking forward to book 3. 👍🏾👍🏾

I absolutely love the war tactics, negotiations, monsters, game mechanics and objectives that are untilized within this story!!
I can't believe the amount of interesting details the author drops into the story about long dead historical figures and how he adds his own artistic impression of them and their character.
And those love scenes! Steamy!
I can't wait to see how everything is wrapped up within the final novel!!
