A very short and nice story about the relationships between friends and family at Christmas time. The book fills up with almost as many pages with Christmas recipes as it does story. Some of the recipes look delicious. Not what I expected but nice.

A really good short story that won't take you long to read.

The town was going to have a Christmas cookie bake sale and every year one particular person wins with her famous cookie recipe. However this year the recipe has been stolen. They think they know who took it.

A really fun read with some awesome recipes

This is a quick read. Loads of recipes to try also. Friends getting together to bake is fantastic and getting mixed up in solving a crime together. They did find the culprit and the reason she did it and gave her the opportunity to move away from area. Great story for the holidays.

I enjoyed this Christmas short story. I love how it revolves around baking, friends and family. There is a mystery in it that added a little edge. There are loads of recipes that look really good. The Cracker Toffee was easy and tasty. It also was made with ingredients I already had on hand. If you are looking for something to read in about an hour or so, pick up this delightful book. Then keep it handy to bake some goodies.

Isn’t this the prettiest Christmas cover? I found that this was a wonderfully written story of two friends, Max and Kieko, who not only work together but share life together. This story is how they solved a mystery in their hometown of Crystal Shores with the help of two sisters Fiona and Theresa. I love that at the end of each chapter is a recipe that was talked about. Yummmmy. It was great to read a cozy that was fun and entertaining and light. I don’t want to spoil this for you, so go grab a copy and enjoy this Christmas Cookie caper. This was the first book I have read by this author. I will be back for another of her books.

I so enjoyed this cozey Christmas mystery bake book full enticing cookie recipes as well as other taisty treats all nicely written with easy to fallow instructions. And as for the mystery itself it has most all Max's usual friends mixed in with a pinch of the bay's neighbours to insure a sweat little masterpiece. Aquier "Christmas Cookie Caper"today so you yourself can enjoy reading it as much as I have. 🙄😊Kat

I am allergic to legumes which include peanuts so I understand Sonia’s problem. Even if I ask a waiter if there is peanut oil in the meal, they have no idea until I ask them about their insurance!!! I am so glad that Keiko got her Christmas miracle. I enjoyed the story, the recipes, and I recommend the book.

Great start to the holiday season. Christmas Cookie Caper is a delight to read. The characters are like family and friends you already know. Max is her usual snarky self, and fun to read about. The recipies are perfect and such a wonderful addition to the story. Read the bridal shop novels and enjoy the heartfelt wonder of the holiday season.

The perfect holiday mystery full of great cookies and a whodunit with a happy ending. The book was well written and a quick entertaining read. The characters are familiar from the series but this book takes us back to the beginning before the bridal store changed owners. Like sinking into a soft comfy chair with a cup of hot cocoa.

I received an arc of this book and voluntarily provided a review.

Christmas baking takes many hands thus Max Walters and Keiko volunteer to help Teresa and Fiona. A bizarre theft leads them to Sonia's house where they are just in time to save her from a severe allergic reaction. Was it an unfortunate mistake or did something more sinister happen?

This sweet (pun intended!) novella was a fun Christmas read. The recipes all sound so very scrumptious!
