The book describes the 3 year existence of the German art movement group which was established in Munich, Germany. (1911-1914)
Mentioned are Wassily Kandinsky, Franz Marc, August Macke, Alexej von Jawlensky, Marianne von Werefkin, Gabriele Münter, Lyonel Feininger, Albert Bloch and many influential paintings are showed in this book. It explains in detail the reason this fundamental expressionist group was created and it talks a lot about Kandinsky's upbringing and his life.

I enjoyed this book, because during my studies in Germany we touched base on Kandinsky and I always wondered more about his connection and roots to Russia, since it reflects in many of his paintings.

(Edizione Abscondita, "Il problema delle forme").

Non ci sono problemi di forma, perché nell'arte non ci sono problemi. Una pulitissima linea che prende coscienza.
